  1. How far ARE you allowed to travel to shop for "essentials" ? Today I went about four miles north, for groceries, and about four miles south for animal feed. Cheers.
  2. Some place called Pontybodkin. It's in today's Daily Mail. Cheers.
  3. 69 next week, but way down the list for the vaccine, 5th tier I think, but still getting about, and fairly healthy. But thanks for the compliment ? Cheers.
  4. Speak for yourself, young 'un ! ? ! Cheers.
  5. Hi, There's a report about a "black panther " on the loose in Wales, today, accompanied by the usual blurred picture; But what caught my attention was the picture of the footprints; Now, I'm certainly no expert on big cats, but my understanding is they all walk with their claws "sheathed", with the exception of the cheetah. This pic seems to show the claws. Whats your take on it ? Cheers.
  6. Interesting about kids and inoculations. I had a call from my GP saying NHE had been in touch wanting to know why my grandson hadn't had his five year olds jabs, as he couldn't attend school without them ! I said the answer is easy, my grandson is only four year old ! They had his birthday wrong on their records. NHE then said they had no record of ANY innoculations he'd had, I said he'd had them all overseas and I'd given my GP all the information, but I still had to give NHE the info again, "to update their records". What I found strange was they said he couldn't attend s
  7. Many years ago I got a job with Lockheed Aircraft, overseas. I had to go to a London clinic for a full medical, blood tests, a load of vacs, and a dental check and had a filling before I was declared fit to travel. To be honest, I didn't have a clue what vax I was given, I just knew if I wanted the job, it was something I had to do. My choice, but the lure of money and adventure overcomes most things when your young ! Im older and, I hope, wiser now, so I'd probably ask what they were injecting me with ! Cheers.
  8. Thanks for the reply. Can you opt out of any of them on, say, religious or ethical grounds ? Cheers.
  9. I don't know the answer and I'm not trying to prove any point. I was asking a genuine question of Ken, not you. I was wondering if he had an aversion to all vaccines, or just this particular one. Cheers.
  10. Ken, as I've said many times, I'm neither for or against the vaccine, I just don't know enough about it. A genuine question; when you were in the military, did you refuse any of the jabs you had to take ? Cheers.
  11. In our adversarial political system, the status quo is to refute and attack the views of the other side, even when you know they are right. So, isn't it even a little bit encouraging that Farage is agreeing with someone who is on the opposite end of the political spectrum when he thinks they are right ? I'll add a caveat, though; if Blair said it was raining, I'd still look out the widow to make sure he wasn't lying !! Cheers.
  12. I don't think he was endorsing Blair unconditionally, he was agreeing with something Blair seems to have got right for once ! After all, even a broken clock is right twice a day ! ? ! Cheers.
  13. Now that his raison d'etre has gone, Farage is casting about for a worthy cause to champion, so as to stay relevant. But he needs to be careful who's company he keeps.......especially that slippery b*****d Blair ! Cheers.
  14. Is pest control not exempt, mate ? Cheers.
  15. Anything I can't get in a shop is available on line, so I don't feel the need to panic. Cheers.
  16. Yeah, I wasn't sure, but there's a one very near me, and I needed a 2 gang dimmer switch, so called in, no drama. Cheers.
  17. I don't think it will make much difference to me. Ive been to B&Q, Asda and Aldi today, and I think they will all still be open tomorrow. Going to the feed merchants tomorrow, that'll be open. Petrol stations will still be open. So, really no change for me. Cheers.
  18. This one was living in an urban graveyard; Cheers.
  19. As far as I'm aware, no one is being forced to have the vaccine. Most people don't die of 'flu, yet they still have the vaccine every year. Im just playing Devils Advocate, as I don't have the 'flu vax and I'm pretty ambilivent about the Covid vax. Cheers.
  20. It would be interesting to hear people's honest opinions of why they won't have the vaccine. The reasons seem to cover the whole spectrum from the tin foil hat brigade, who think it will alter their DNA or inject a tracking device, or control their minds..........to the perfectly reasonable, (in my mind anyway), that they would like to have more information or see results before taking the vaccine. I probably fall in the latter, but if I HAVE to have it so I can travel, I probably would. Cheers.
  21. "There was a lot of bloodshed at the Nell Gwynne Tea Rooms last night",......... Cheers.
  22. Unless you are using the term "woman of colour" tongue in cheek, you are aiding the woke b*****ds by using their PC terminology. Just call her a black woman, like most people would. Cheers.
  23. Corbyns brother is 73, and the old c**t has been arrested TWICE this year already !!! Cheers.
  24. The Norwegian government is already complaining that their deal with the EU is not as good as the UK's deal. Of course it's not.....they still have to pay into the EU ! Cheers.
  25. Who have a free trade agreement with Canada and Mexico.... Cheers.
