  1. If all these spaceships are visiting eath, why have none of them, as they say, " landed on the White House lawn" and made contact ? Im not saying there ISN'T alien life, in fact I think there probably is. Humans have vehicles driving around and helicopters flying on mars, so why isn't there more definite proof of aliens on earth ? Cheers.
  2. Sounds like you're a bit down this morning Kieth ? Maybe all the moving stuff is a bit overwhelming, don't take comments on here seriously. Your posts have certainly made me smile a few times. Have a cuppa, chill out and reconsider ? Cheers.
  3. I wish BBC would put the snooker on a dedicated channel instead of jumping from BBC 1, 2, 4 and iplayer !!! Cheers.
  4. No, mate, I bet against him in the last final against Robertson. I think he's past his peak, still a brilliant player, how many make five finals in a season ? Flashes of brilliance, but to many unforced errors. Been O.D. Ing on snooker this week, watching it now. Slowly being convinced the "Williams break off" is the way forward, stopping the long potters taking the first red.....even Hendry is coming round to it ! Cheers.
  5. Yes, mate, par-boiled I think is the term. I used to do them the same as you until I bought a deep fat fryer, great little things for around £20 ? Cheers.
  6. Pigeon breast marinated in soy, garlic and chilli. Red pepper and onions sautéed in balsamic vinegar. Deep fried new potatoes. Cheers.
  7. "We have touchdown.....the eagle has landed". Cheers.
  8. Yes, if you know 100% where the dog will end up, then rehome, but, sadly, in the case of lurchers, they more often than not end up being passed around, lied about, sold on by peddlers, etc. As I said, it's a choice only the owner can make. Cheers.
  9. It's a dilemma with no definitive answer. Do you rehome and hope the dog doesn't end up on the lurcher merry-go-round, or do you cull, and know exactly what's happened to the dog ? Its a choice only the owner can make. Cheers.
  10. You sound as exited as a kid going on his first bus trip to the coast ! ? ! Good luck and all the best with the move, mate ? Cheers.
  11. OK, now I'm going to ask what a lot of people are thinking, and i'm not being smart or being an arsehole, but why not just put the dog down, rather than put it on the lurcher merry go round ? I'm sorry if I offend, but it it's not good enough for the job it was bred for .......it's either a cull or a pet. Cheers.
  12. And me mate ! Looking forward to another day an those Scottish hills ! ? Cheers.
  13. A pal of mine mated a deerhound with a lot of Doxhope blood to an Irish coursing greyhound, but she didn't take. Hes done the mating again and hopefully, it looks like she's taken this time; With a bit of luck, I'll have a pup. Cheers.
  14. She's 29" and around 75/80 lb. Her Sire was deerhound, Doxhope Knights Errant. Her dam was Greyhound, sister to Westmead Hawk. She's 12 now, and been retired 2 years. Cheers.
  15. She's retired now, or I would have given it a go ? Cheers.
  16. It's possible to live your life according to Christian standards without being a Christian or believing in God or any other gods. I'm not saying I do; I'm not really into the "turning the other cheek" bit, but conversely, I try to treat others as I'd have them treat me. I guess age, experience and circumstances have mellowed me considerably ? Cheers.
  17. "Romans 14-22; Keep your belief about such matters between you and your God" I'm not in the slightest bit religious, but there's some good advice to be found in the bible.........? Cheers.
  18. My grandsons first haircut was pretty traumatic ! He was hysterical, his mum was crying and the Turkish barber was terrified at upsetting a Saudi ! Now, at five year old , and being spoilt rotten, he tells the barber how he wants his hair cut, and last time, he had it dyed multi coloured !!! Now it was my turn to be worried ! ? ! We don't want to be encouraging that, i told his mum ! Dont worry she said, it washed out before he went to school next day ! A bit different to the old pudding basin cut we used to get as kids ! ? ! Cheers.
  19. "Better to say nothing and be thought a fool, than to speak and confirm it" Not a bad saying......... Cheers.
  20. Is that one of those Picardy crosse said that were around a few years ago ? Cheers.
  21. If they just want proof of income, and it meets their criteria, then your outgoings shouldn't make any difference. Cheers.
  22. I know a few pubs where the lads would gladly give a southerner free boxing lessons if it wasn't for this f***ing lock down ! ??? ! Cheers.
  23. I voted Labour all my life until Blair, then Corbyn confirmed I'd done the right thing in not voting for them. I held my nose and voted for Boris simply because he was the only one who promised to honour the Brexit vote, and he did. I won't be voting for any of the "big parties" in the local elections next month. There's an independent who is saying the right things and gathering a lot of support, so I'm minded to vote for him. Labour, Conservative, LibDem ? All equally reprehensible, lying, corrupt b*****ds ! Cheers.
  24. I didn't know wether to laugh out loud or be outraged when I saw Chris Bryant, MP, on Sky News ranting about Cameron and " Tory sleaze! This man is Chairman of the Commons Committee on Standards. He is also the MP who was caught posting pictures of his cock on a gay website ??? As they say; " you couldn't make it up "......... Cheers.
