  1. They probably do make good pets, I wouldn't know, all mine have been kennelled. But they will also fill a freezer if you get the right ones; Cheers.
  2. I can only speak from personal experience ? Cheers.
  3. Maybe it's down to training, but the deer crosses I've had and have were very biddable, but had prey drive at least as good as any other type I've owned. They are like whippets and greyhounds in the kennel......quiet and well behaved. They are running dogs, so will never be as obedient as some HPR types, or as excitable as some Terrier types. So, easy to live with, take most stuff without any drama, and best of all, a joy to see at full stretch behind a daytime hare, fox or deer ? Ive had most pures and crosses, and the deer grey just another type to me....but I like them ?
  4. He isn't just a "figurehead" for his hotels and businesses.....he owns them, along with Giggs. Cheers.
  5. Hypocrite, just like Joe Lycett who attacked Beckham for being paid by the Qataries. Turns out he has done multiple gigs in Qatar, Bahrain and the U.A.E. Cheers.
  6. Of course I've heard of it, I've spent time in America and worked with many Americans, I just put it down to another of their strange peculiarities, like chicken fried steak, chittlings and Philly Gumbo. But, as I said, if you enjoy it.....eat it ! ? Cheers.
  7. My missus makes her own pizza.........you know exactly what you're getting ! ? Cheers.
  8. My missus also thinks Hawaiian pizza is an abomination, I quite like them ? Cheers.
  9. I raised an eyebrow at the egg on the steak, but then again, my missus thinks I'm a Philistine for having pineapple on gammon ! Eat whatever you enjoy, I say ? Cheers.
  10. Yeah, just over 18 months now. Time flies, she was 5 month last time I saw you ? Cheers.
  11. I like Deerhounds and deer/greys; Cheers.
  12. The only thing that the ban affected for me is I can't attend official coursing meets. I can still go to "unofficial " coursing meets, fox hunts, I still go lamping, ferreting, and daytime coursing. The only thing that may stop me in ten years time is the fact I'll be 80, and even if I can't physically go hunting, I'll still have a dog just in case I put something up on my daily walk to the Allotments , if I'm still alive then, of course ! ?? Cheers.
  13. Yes. Like to watch Farage, Wooton. Its good to have a right of centre news channel to try and offset the left wing BBC, Sky, etc. Cheers
  14. Went to bed last night, all the roofs were white. Got up this morning and all the snow, frost and ice was gone ! Remarkable turn around from minus 3 to plus 10 overnight ! Cheers.
  15. It will go to the Court of Appeal, and then to the Supreme Court, then the ECHR will say it's illegal and back to square one ! As long as the ECHR can over rule our courts it will never happen. Theres no politician in the UK, from any party, that will make the decision to either leave or ignore the ECHR. Sunak was asked today if the High Court ruling would mean illegal immigrants could start to be deported to Rwanda before the next General election, and he couldn't give an answer. When Labour win the next election, which looks increasingly likely, it will all be a moot poin
  16. Sounds good, but the judges added a proviso.......each individual case had to be considered before deportation, and as long as we are still in the ECHR the lefties lawyers will appeal and it will all start again. I don't think anyone will be deported to Rwanda, the government just think the threat of it will deter people from coming here, but I doubt it will ? Cheers.
  17. My grandson at four year old getting his horse up to a canter for the first time; Cheers.
  18. E Have a word with yourself, young 'un ! ?? Cheers.
  19. Of course. It's up to the individual what they do. When I say I'm a fatalist, I mean that we can't see the future, so there's no possibility that we can change or affect it. When I say I'm a stoic, I mean that if I can't change or affect the future, I have to accept it and make the best of it I can. We all have decisions to make every day. We make good or bad decisions and have to live by them.......but that doesn't mean we have to compromise our integrity. Our integrity is only important to ourselves, no one else.....but it does affect how others see us. The old saying "wa
  20. What they like behind a real hare ? Cheers.
  21. Don't think I've ever made any real mistakes or had any huge regrets......but I remember many years ago, I was at college doing a course on electronic controls, the early days of the applications, and I was offered a very lucrative contract in the Middle East. I accepted the contract on the proviso I could finish the course. The employer agreed an even said they would pay me while I completed the course. Then I had another contract offer, engineer at Freeport, Grand Bahama. Better money, conditions, etc., but I put professional integrity and reputation first and declined the offer an
  22. I remember when I was in Thailand in the early 80's and a Dutch lad was doing the rounds, taking on all the Thai boxers. He was a karate guy and beat every one one of them. I said of course he would , he was about 6'7" and they were about 5'5" ! ?? They tried to get me in the ring with him, I said they could go f**k themselves.......but I'd bet I could drink him under the table ! ? Cheers.
