  1. Preaching about bsa like that, anybody would think you were from Brum???
  2. I reckon they’ll be good at 30ft lbs Phil, not so sure about 12ft lb. I think they might need more speed to stabilise properly. I hope I’m wrong though??
  3. A pal of mine has one, he paid all of £200 for a mint one. It’s ok but it’s a bit of a musket, and he hardly ever uses it. If you can get an fx for similar money I’d go with fx personally. Nothing wrong with the 410 extra though, except..............it’s a bit of a musket ?
  4. Talking of which, did anything come of that paddock full of rabbits next to the church yard rabbit shooting permission stav? If I remember correctly, the rimfire wasn’t ideal?
  5. Narp.........just a bit ‘o grey plywood ?
  6. Yerr, that’s what I mean about the .25 fac air, more power, more pellet weight. That’s when .22 fac air makes more sense.
  7. 30ft lb in .22 is brilliant Ben. A factory fac rapid is a good dependable gun and can be picked up at well below your budget. If I were you though, I’d look at the fx range. The .25’s are good, but it depends what you want it for. To get the best out of .25 fac air you can end up chasing.22 rimfire performance and if that’s the case, you’d might be as well to get a .22 rimfire instead. I run my fx impact .22 at 19 to 42ish ft lbs adjustable at the turn of a wheel, which makes it very versatile using different pellet weights as well as slugs. It can also be set higher or lower than that power r
  8. I’d like one in green synthetic as they do on the 100, but reading about problems with 110’s I’m going off them a bit. Personally I don’t like laminate stocks, but everybody’s different. Hopefully you’ll be ok and enjoy yours though fella??
  9. Is it a carbon fibre bottle bn? If so, what’s the overall weight like compared to the standard gun?
  10. I daren’t go on my own because I’m scared of the dark.......?
  11. Got another one of these little fellas today. Saw a few squirrels running about in the trees as well that I could’ve had with a shotgun, but I’d taken fac air rifle hoping for a few crows. Didn’t see any though.
  12. Can’t say you’re not making the most of the opportunity Phil ??
  13. Mainly for night time rabbit set up shooting from a truck. I’ve seen some nice custom 10/22’s but the price goes up a lot?? Have you had any experience of marlins?
  14. Sorry fella, I threw mine away, but it wasn’t almost newish anyway. You could’ve had it with pleasure.
  15. Yerr, you’ll be fine with 3 inch chamber. I’ve got a 3:1/2 inch beretta and it cycles anything, including 2 inch carts. I rarely use 3:1/2 inch carts. Gamebore mammoth 3 inch are good enough for most situations in my opinion.
  16. Good stuff, all you need now is a decent camera ??
  17. Same here, dr bobs quick fill and gauge fitted. Brilliant guns that will last for decades if not a lifetime.??
  18. It’s alright for you lot, I’m only one inch tall but I make up for it by being four feet wide?
  19. I’ve never seen one wolfie, let alone used one. As you say though, at that price you can’t go far wrong. A question for you if you don’t mind. I’m after a semi auto .22, thinking browning SA22. Have you had any experience of these? Also, I’d like to know how they compare to the marlins and rugers. Plenty of them about for not much money here. I’m not too keen on the 10/22’s out of the box though. Also, the browning buckmark carbine, any good?
  20. You missed.........? Nice set up Ian ??
