  1. There are loads round here. One or two white buck's floating around. I wonder if its the same herd we see.. We were walking the dogs the other day and saw a fairly large group with 3or 4 white deer in amongst them but I didn't have my camera. What area of West Sussex are you Comanche?

    AOL

My dad has had problems with AOL recently too, he rang them asked for the MAC code and they sent out an engineer and his problems were solved. He's still changing ISP though! AOL are shite...
  3. All the best for Leon Tom, i'm sure he'll be fine but any parent/grandparent wouldn't be human if they didn't worry.
  4. Not very exciting but I thought i'd share, i've been playing about with the settings on my camera a bit and wondered what others thought...
  5. My mum's OH has a terrano and he thinks its great! Never has a moments trouble from it and it does well off road too.
  6. If you have a USB lead (you should have with this phone) then just connect it to the pc and then the phone and follow the instructions, a small window should open asking what you want to do, choose copy pictures into folder. If you don't have a USB then start an MMS and add the pic you want and instead of sending to a number send it to an email address.
  7. Its hard work but I wouldn't change it for the world.
  8. La Femme Pires was Paris' racing name, she came to me at 5 after her retirement. She is the brindle. Phoenix is the black, never had a racing name as he didn't even trial.
  9. I agree with Jasper but I also think that we should remember why this country was once great! So far as I know my town do bugger all on St Georges day yet every single establishment celebrated St Patricks day...
  10. Tut tut! What sort of girl do you think I am! I'm really lucky that I started looking when I did as a friend had it for sale and sent it down from Yorkshire for me.
  11. It certainly would. Each to thier own, I have 4 tattoos myself but i'd just not want to cover myself.
  12. My dad swears by his and during the winter wears them every day on the farm, if they weren't waterproof he'd not wear them. I don't know about the neoprene bits though now you come to mention it. My daughter has a pair and spends half her life wading through puddles even when it is seemingly dry and she's not complained so far. She could find a bloody puddle to jump in out in the sahara!
  13. I love tattoos but I do think that is too many. Must have been very painful having some of the er, more sensitive areas done.
  14. The horse and the people are nomal size but if you look the dog has no shadow as the people and the horse do.
  15. Aww, bless them. My daughter is a bit like that. I'll never forget a few years ago when my sisters beagle picked a baby bun out of some grass and just carried it around in his mouth until my dad took it off him and killed it. She wasn't impressed. They'll change their opinions in time no doubt.
  16. I've walked past people who will pick up thier dogs as we go by because they think that my dogs are evil killers. Paris can't be trusted with some small dogs but she is always under control. Its a shame that some misinformed people give greys a bad name but then I suppose lots of breeds suffer that too.
  17. Cheers folks. Millet its a Fuji finepix s5600. Old in camera terms as it was launched in 2005 but its one hell of an improvement on my compact. I'm really pleased with it. Finepix s5600 I would've loved to get an SLR but I don't really have the money for one, nor do I think i'm really ready for one. I picked mine up from a friend for £65 and as my dad is having my compact and currently has a fuji camera that he won't use I get an XD memory card in the bargin too!
  18. How do you think I ended up with two! My black dog only came to me as a foster! If I had room i'd have many more than just those two and my lurcher!
  19. My new camera arrived this morning so i've been practising with it today and i'd love some comments from the more knowledgeable photographers of the forum please. We came across the swan on the ditch running through the farm and Griff decided seeing as he missed the rabbits he was after he might try the swan.... He got hissed at, a lot!
  20. I hate Bond but I do have Casino Royale on dvd... Never seen any of the Bourne films.
  21. Hunters are knee length but expensive for the time they last. I'm not really keen on them. I have some Le Chameau ones and they are great but veeeeerrrrry expensive. I have had them for 9 years though and I wear them quite a lot. What about Muck Boots? My dad swears by them, they have a great insole that keeps your feet really toasty in the winter and you can take it out in the summer. Muck Boots

    Madge

I have to lock my bin in a cupboard and put childlocks on my fridge...
  23. My friend lost her saluki dog and he was gone for 2 weeks! Don't just give up and sit by the phone waiting. Sorry to be harsh but if you want your dog back you need to get out there and look, knock on doors etc. In the two weeks Teddy was missing there were hardly any sightings but we got him back, I was on the search when he was found. People were out every day in different areas looking for him and not giving up!
