  1. So cynical you men folk...
  2. Never use it on anything with Collie blood in it though. My dad used benzo on his ColliexHunterway successfully, should clear it up nicely.
  3. Hmm, might have a little wander over on the sunday.

Nothing has changed on my browser from what I can see.
  5. Clever cat! I do like cats, I just can't have them all the while my greyhound bitch is around. She's a handy excuse when my daughter mentions having a rabbit/hamster/guinea pig etc though...
  6. When? I missed it the first time.
  7. Nearly 12 seconds on my third go. I have a rugby match to go to and I can see i'm gonna be sat here trying to conquer this bloody thing!
  8. You have to live to your means. Sounds as though these people can't or won't if they fritter away £34k
  9. I can cook! I don't like pepper sauce so I think it ruins my sublime steak when I cook it!
  10. Lovely BRB. My daughter loved going to the local centre but its closed now apparently. She was about 3 when we first went and has been obssessed with birds of prey ever since!
  11. Mine are all rescue too and have never been properly worked, other than bits and bobs although I do plan on bringing Griff on.
  12. Your hounds are a credit to you! Especially Savy who has had so many problems, many people would have given up on her. Plenty of working breeds do not live in working homes and for the most part they are still happy, healthy dogs. Yours get as much running and off lead exercise as a lot of workers from what I can tell and look at the compliments Spook got at Peterborough... You are taking time to read and learn from threads. You aren't insulting anyone or anything like that, I can't see why your presence could be seen as a problem.
  13. I was 17 and doing a job I loved so I didn't care. Things change however, I couldn't do it now. I would love to do a job that I adore that pays well but in horses it doesn't happen unless you have the money to progress yourself which I don't. I'm hoping after my degree i'll still be in a profession I love although with the state of the NHS who knows if there will be any jobs for me to go too...
  14. Because sometimes you do a job for the love of it! I worked with horses until I had my daughter, one job I worked in a polo yard, sometime 14 hour days for £176 a fortnight and I loved every second of it. Unfortunately I have to think beyond love of the job now, I have responsibilities but my chosen career is Midwifery, still not particularly high paying but better than the equine industry.
  15. I wouldn't be a teacher for love nor money! My mum works as a TA in a specialised school and they all have to wear panic alarms directly linked to the local police station!
  16. Pepper sauce ruins the steak I cook!
  17. My tidy and your tidy might be two different things Snap! I can do homecooked, what did you fancy?

They were looking good when I tuned in, about 20 mins into the match but they went downhill didn't they. I'm still not really seeing the hype surrounding Cipriani, he's a good player but I don't think he's anywhere near the standard that Wilkinson was at his age personally.

I watched Leicester VS Wasps earlier which was good but then I got bullied into watching kids TV for the rest of the afternoon! That'll teach me to have a lazy day because we had a match cancelled!
  20. Snaps, you are supposed to be in your canoe...
  21. I found with my three that they have a settling in period of about 2-3 weeks where they will fit in and be as good as gold, sometimes not quite so long but 2-3 weeks is about average. After this 'honeymoon period' they will start testing thier boundaries however, if your dog is very food orientated then its much easier to train them, just make sure they know you have treats with you and they are the reward for good behaviour. With my new dog I have found it so much easier than with my lurcher who couldn't give a toss if I have treats in my pocket or not. Some long line training might be a

My mum pays £60 a year but then she drives a rollerskate. Having said that, its all she needs.
