Can you not just remove what you don't want using add/remove in the control panel?

Its an Acer Aspire 5315. The mousepad is in front of the keyboard yes but i've deliberately typed without touching it or leaning on the buttons as I wondered if that was the problem but it still does it and its bloody annoying!

My laptop arrived today which is great but i'm having one or two teething problems and never having had one before i'm a bit stuck... When typing the cursor has a mind of its own, it will highlight and delete what i've typed and go back to the middle of a sentance and start typing from there so I end up with something that makes no sense... Any ideas..? Thanks in advance!

I lost my terrier just over a year ago and the vet thinks she had antifreeze poisoning, probably from drinking out of puddles. I'm not saying every dog that drinks out of a puddle will get poisoned but i'm a lot more careful about letting my dogs do it now. She used to always drink out of them and its the only thing we can think of unless someone did it on purpose which I doubt round here.

I saw their tradestand at Highclere on sunday and they look bloody nice kennels, i'd love something like that for my lot but don't have the cash or room. Hope they get delivered soon.

It was sunday yes. The weather really cleared up in the afternoon but in the morning there was constant rain but the sort that you don't really notice but end up getting soaked!

Happy Birthday Tom, have a lovely day!

I agree with what you are saying but showing is all down to looks is it not? Surely the point of a show regardless of which breed of dog is being shown is down to whichever dog represents the breed in the best way. Look at hound shows, some of the best hounds aren't always the best looking or with the best conformation and wouldn't win prizes but are held in high regard within the hunt because of their ability in the field. I see showing as a bit of fun, I enter my dogs if i'm at a show with relevant classes for them but if they get placed then they do if not then who cares. I do t

Isn't that where the army training is? I'm sure my ex went there for 2 week with his uni OTC to do some training...

Some rescues won't rehome to working homes. Many of the breed specific rescues who actually know the breed however will. The rescue I deal with take ex track dogs straight from the trainers and rehome them but they also get some other breeds too. A lurcher I collected last year for being destructive went off to a great working home in Surrey where he is having a great time and doing very well. The home he has gone to is that of a well known lurcher judge apparently who does all sorts of work with their dogs.

Sorry Witton! At times yesterday afternoon it was quite warm in the sun but yes for the most part we were, to quote a friend of mine, wetter than an otter's pocket!

Unfortunately some people see the negative press the racing industry gets concerning greyhound welfare and think that they have to take on a retired dog 'to do their bit'. I was one of these people but I did my research into the breed long before I got one. I have seen the fattest greyhound that i've ever seen in the same town I live in that was rehomed by the rescue I got Paris from. They asked me to go and check the home out and when I got there I was told that the dog was fed on leftovers from dinner, walked into town and back once a day (about 15 mins walk) and didn't get any other ex

Better remove her immediately! Poor uncared for mutt.

Wouldn't have been called West Beach was it Neal? I tend to just come across the norm when i'm walking the dogs. If we go out early enough we see the racehorses on excersise but thats about it. Deer are the norm for us round here as there are so many although we did see a muntjac one evening which we don't normally see.

As i'm planning on doing some aglility I have to have the boosters and show certification although before I just had them initially done and didn't get boosters apart from not doing agility is there any way around their insistance of them?

And a few more.

I took my daughter and my lurcher to Highclere yesterday and although slightly damp we had a lovely day. We met Collie/Grey, Witton, World Hunters and i'm so sorry but i've forgotten who else. Griff came 3rd in his class and I know C/G did pretty well in the ring too. No pics of the showing but a few others. Vine and Craven foxhounds, ferret world display and a falconry display.

I was really angry. Still am because anyone who knows me will know that I dote on my dogs! Phoenix was thin, quite a bit thinner thatn he is now but as I say, I was on top of the situation and working on him. I certainly wasn't ignoring the issue! I don't know for sure what was wrong with him even now but he's fine and happy and still doted on!
-
Try a scrap yard. I've managed to get parts for my cars from them before now but it all depends what they've got in.
-
On one of the lurcher forums I used to go on a bunnyhugger tried reporting me to the RSPCA for keeping my dogs in my conservatory at night and because Phoenix was thin. I agree he was thin but he had picked something up and I was on top of it, the bitch didn't come to me to ask me about it she went behind my back, read all previous posts I had made and found out where i'd got my dogs from and contacted both rescues concerned and tried to report me! I'd be livid Kay, ignorance or not what right do these people have?! Do these look poorly treated, starving and unhappy dogs?!
-
She looks great Kay! Did you get anywhere with the lunging on lead?
-
Why on earth does having a rescue lurcher mean I, or anyone else has a brain of pink much?! I don't think a brain of pink mush would've gotten me a levels at the grades I got nor will it get me a midwifery degree. Taking pathetic pot shots at people is, well pathetic 'sweetie'! It'll certainly do you no favours here, we may not all agree on everything but one thing I will say about this site and the majority of the people is that is friendly and most manage to get by without slagging one another off for choices that they make with their lives! As you only have purebred dogs Kate you c

Its at Highclere castle, just off the A34 near Newbury.

I went 2 years ago and Griff followed the lead dog in the coursing and then came straight back to me! He's since got the hang of it so i'll probably enter him for a bit of fun. Hopefully see some of you there.
