    Dude, ever since I dumped my centerfires and hence flat ish trajectories my world of hunting up to fox sized criteria has diminished none. If anything more so. Trading bullet weight from an already light bullet to gain what 50 yds and increased windage in a breeze is not the answer. Of course this is just my opinion, all be it it is serving me well.

    As soon as I see some I will grab some. What kind of groups do they give you? What kind of useful range are they, are they flat to 80yds ?

    So they break the sound barrier? A touch quicker than standard velocity and a shade slower than normal HV. Sound interesting. Might make autos super reliable! I want some.

    Took a walk somewhere I have not lamped for about three years. It was sad in as much as there was no rabbits. I use to be able to fill a sack with them in an hour or so. Not any more! I walked the maize stubbles and got a glint, no sooner had I spotted it it had gone! I carried on. In a gateway and even in the dark I could see fresh fallow slots. They seem to be doing well here and I often think about getting serious about taking one but then I think better of it.     I had a vmx when they came out. Never again! The stock is carp. To flimsy where it fixes on the forend. I had to repair it. It's basically a generic Chinese made air gun but your paying more for the Webley logo. May as well but a Chinese air gun and tune it up which is very doable. Hw99 is much better option. Light and accurate, plenty umph.

    That's mostly why I quite on the shoots. Not criticising but for me it got to much. My friends benefit from my hunting and I enjoy cooking it myself. I also like the time alone and the peace.

    I went to check my new trail camera this morning and it only photographed a squirrel. I think little birds set it off. There was two night shots but they were blurred! Maybe condensation via a rapid temp change in the night. The bait was untouched. On the way I walked a slang of trees for squirrel but to my joy a pheasant lifted up in front left to right at about 22yards or so. The little 410 came up moved Infront of its head and spoke. The bird fell head back dead in the air. Just 11g of #6, ace.

    I find the the most subtle suggestion of a pint is good for two days but you MUST honour the subgestion within three days ( two if there is a moon ) or disappointment and resentment start to resurface! Again!!
