    H4895. Another favourite. Very forgiving in case fulls of certain calibres. A bit fast for heavy 243 rounds mind. BL-C2 was brilliant in the 17rem I fooled with. 1/4" groups all day long but as soon as a breeze turned up or rain....forget it!

    I got one of the above head torches, it arrived yesterday and they are good. I have to quickly move it to the side of my head in order to aim a shot gun. ?

    They have a spring under the adjuster mate. Find a lighter one if it doesn't come down enough. Similar unit to the Parker Hale rifles and Weatherby vanguard's and possibly Howa.

    What a lovely day, no rain and sunshine! Perfect for hunting pheasants with a flintlock. SD.

    Never bought a Timney and a tikka has a great trigger anyway. If you need it lighter just change the spring under the adjusting screw.

    Sound. It's egg units getting hit randomly at night. Some birds stay out at night etc. There is a visitor's sign in book in a little shed. If I can I want fit a chair inside and bait a spot withing sight and possibly put a white board to possibly aid not illuminating the victim. Put a trail cam up and keep baiting hoping for a pattern to emerge. Side note. I use to have PH safari in 308. Got it cheap as "it won't shoot". By the time I finished with it it would put three rounds down the same hole! I will get a box of kitty food when I get set up. Thanks all.

    Any of you guys done any fox baiting? If so what's your fave bait?. I want to try and get a problem fox to come and get a regular feed in a convenient spot etc. SD.
