    Only ones I trust me self picking are field mushrooms otherwise leave them . Shame I didn't take more notice of me grandad when he'd take us out foraging on long walks to give me mam a break but I only seemed to like it when he took us ferreting or out with catty after kaneys,

    I used to pick mushrooms and harvest all kinds of berry's, fruit, nuts and fur and feather with me grandad when I was a lad and I took more interest in setting snares and ferreting and using catty than I did picking fungi but I wish I'd took more notice,I no the obvious one to pick like field mushrooms and to stay away from ones with yellow around stalks ,I came across these yesterday and thought they looked like blue legs as they was blue underneath but not sure so left them .I come across lots of different types but don't want to risk it .

    I sell what I don't use myself to neighbours but used to take stuff to work at me old place . Wouldn't dream of saying anything to bunch I work with now but then again they don't understand a word I'm saying anyhow lol ?

    If the land I walk was holding good numbers I'd have given you a day out and that's best you can hope for on here bud . Best bet knock some doors and if nothing comes up then find somewhere local and quite and just get on with it . Shats the worse can happen ,you rabbiting not coursing .poaching of course but most on here poach anyway ?

    Let's face it lurcher game got lot of cnuts 8n it that go out and damage property and running stuff and then post it and brag to the world about it on social media , Go about your business as quite as possible and tell no one nothing and respect that land and what your running and you normally OK unless your running hot spots and then your asking for a pull.     The pure I see was big but the fella assured me he didn't need football size field to turn ,he said something like he can fold his legs on small places ,I herd it from terrier men but never lurcher lad It was nice to look at but I'd rather a deerhound lurcher

    I was out ferreting last Yr and a fella was walking a deerhound, the size of this thing it looked big as a great dane .

    Me brother had a first x and he nearly wrote her off as she didn't come into her own until gone 2 Yr old but he always says she best dog he ever had in fifty Yr of keeping lurchers .just got to give certain types time to grow up .

    Lovely pup mate ,I rember jeffs steamer,don't no if he still got him but he was a cracker ,I'd really like to try one and kick me self for not taking a pup when he offered to gift me one few Yr ago but maybe when the old clown of a Whippet x gone I get me self a pup

    Corker mate ,got a better coat than mine by looks of it ,do you use a tracker bud ? I nearly lost me dog yesterday and luckily it was the old keeper that picked her up but with a collar I'd have had her back in no time so I've decided I got to get one ,I was looking at dog track ? Set up or garmin but garmin expensive but it's a must now . Have nice day bud
