lol its a strange one that is. a dog can't do much if there's no scent. but if other dogs are doing it then it proves your point.

how do you mean blew hot and cold? quite a few off days?
  4. what is it you actually want? beddywhippet x with a greyhound. or beddy greyhound with a whippet. or beddywhippet x whippet greyhound? or even Bedlington x with a grew it's endless.
  5. you will get tangled we all have but you will get past it. stick to it it's much better carrying a couple of nets and a set of pegs. especially when you need to be discreet.
  6. it's stood the test of time terry. it's not broke so don't try to mend it.
  7. Yes and the heaviest bag to carry is a empty one
  8. beauty is in the eye of the beholder
  9. no reason to disbelieve you mate. many people say genuine first cross beddywhippet are never smooth coated but that one isn't true.
  10. thinking about it have you ever seen whippets work cover? brambles, hedgerows etc? I am not saying they won't but I have no experience with them.
  11. no if you look back I said I have never seen a straight whippet work cover like a bedlington whippet. nothing to do with coat. I have worked with smooth coated Russell's that smashed cover so coat is not a issue with me.
  12. this one has a good coat. it's thick doesn't let much water in. unfortunately stuff sticks to it like spunk to a priests beard.
  13. it will be a first for me. and I am fxxking fed up of years of sticky buds twigs, seeds and whatever else stuck in there coat.
  14. would say most on here don't care about looks or coat work comes before everything. all mine have been rough coated that's just the way things have worked out. my next one I am looking to breed my own this will be my first litter of pup's I have bred. have to see what she throws but I am looking for a smooth one this time.
  15. mate of mine been using them 35 years. he's just had a triple heart bypass. told his enlarged heart is almost certainly down to them. he's not complaining said he knows the risk.
  16. you must be a member of the aristocracy to afford to drink in Dublin
  17. looks like he should make a bit of height to him, give you more options.
  18. I think she's gone for a jack Russell ?
  19. no as we said earlier type will come second to work.
  20. Yes definitely would. but if it was a three quarter would put it to a half cross.
  21. I think he means choosing type after work. they would have to be proven workers first and foremost.
  22. Couldn’t agree more with you mate. makes sense to me ?
