this little dog has a great nose. she gives a very strong mark, has found pheasant nests a Robins nest. nests of field mice and rabbit stops with young kits in. Bedlington noses are up there with the best.
the travelling is well worth it ?. rabbit numbers are very low around me. just mooching about but love watching the dog work, only pick up ones and twos where the dog marks or picks up odd ones out of cover but still enjoying it.
mine is a unregistered working Bedlington to a non ped whippet. I suppose the purists might say not genuine because the beddy isn't kc. who cares she does the job I got her for that's all that matters.
some kc dogs do work. seen unregistered dogs work as well. breeding is half of it but as you say what you do with them is just as important. you can have the best bred pup ever but you can't just expect things to happen.
there is plenty on every week but 90% are pets. if you want working stock which I assume you do then watch what you are looking for and be careful to get what you want.
that's the difference my friend. do you want a fighter or a boxer?. age old argument fighters like Benn put bums on seats. surely boxing is about hit and not get hit. been said ward would send a glass eye to sleep but he is a boxer and twice outboxed krusher.
I know it's hard to tell yet but those pups are looking smooth. also not typical first cross colours and are dog pup's. I think the vendor will be dropping his price when they are ready to go, after all the pet brigade love a fluffy
it's all about the pet market people are paying it so the prices will keep rising. when you are in it for money you don't give a monkeys trumpet where they go.
