don’t really watch many films, but watched this this afternoon and really enjoyed it, that lad who plays spanner is excellent and if this is what you were into in the early 90’s we all knew a spanner, he is a mirror image of my mate Neil when we were in our teens

Got him some Biscotti, it was a toss up between that or Farm Gas but I’d never heard of that, anyway, he was over the moon when he opened it so it should give the mother-in-law some peace for a bit

Got everything done today ready for the patio to go down, sold the paving I took up to next door for 60 quid so I’m going to pop to a mates and get the father-in-law a little something to ease his pains

This one ready for the paving to go down, I’ve had to put 8 ton of stone in, half of that is because the original patio was laid on a bit of sharp with a dusting of cement, amateurs. On to dig out the next one tomorrow

I’d go vito, at least the majority of faults with them are DPF or injectors, not your engine falling to bits

Getting somewhere today, only problem is the paving they have chosen won’t be here until next Tuesday, so I’ve got another to prep tomorrow for the same paving and someone across the road from here also wants a price but they need to have a think about what they want because that garden is on a slope

Yeah, the belt breaks down and blocks the strainer, starving the top end of oil, my mate is seeing a couple a month in his garage, they are charging engines, no rebuilds, very expensive when they go wrong

I’ve seen a lot of wet belt failures, at least with a chain you get a warning, with the wet belt they just strip teeth, all the manufacturers are recommending you only use their oil because too many people are using the wrong oil, even garages servicing them, I would stay away from a wet belt

The 2.0d is a decent engine, it’s basically the same engine they fit in all the range and in the mini I think, but it suffers with the same timing chain issues as the 3.0d, so good service history is a must

They are decent if you are looking at them after about 2014 the 3.0d is a thirsty beast and don’t even look at the 4.4 V8, you need to over service them because they are known for timing chain issues

I have always wanted a Volvo xc60, looked for one a while ago but ended up buying a Tiguan, to be fair that turned out to be a cracking car

They are a quality car, I’ve never driven one that wasn’t nice to drive from a little A1 to an RS6, currently got a 24 plate S3 Vorsprung and it’s like driving an armchair until you put it in track mode then it’s completely off its tits, in the past 15 or 16 years between me and the missus we’ve had 9 Audi’s and 3 VW’s
