  1. Just to add, these thing check for air flow and vacuum so if the air intake system has a leak after the MAF then this is the fault you will see and unplugged the MAF will take the sensor out the system so the ecu will compensate for it, normally by adding more fuel, this could be what you can smell in the car A split in a vacuum pipe will also give this fault on some occasions
  2. That’s usually a fault with MAF sensor or the manifold pressure sensor, I’ve had it in the past where I’ve replaced the MAF with an aftermarket one and it’s just been the same, put a genuine one on and it works, also if there’s oil on the manifold pressure sensor it gives the same fault, when you unplug the MAF the ecu will change the fueling to compensate for not seeing the air flow it is expecting, also possibly a wiring fault to the MAF, this sometimes doesn’t put the EML on but will store a fault
  3. That’s similar to me, corned beef, beetroot and lettuce on brown bread 5 days a week ( lol ) I’m going to have to make one for this weeks bait, just for the nostalgia
  4. I bloody love a corned beef butty, I used to have one 5 days a week when I was a mechanic, the lads used to take the piss out of me for it, it’s bloody expensive now mind

  12. Ask the lad about building control and he said “ who’s building control “ I don’t know if he was joking or not, so left it at that. So everything is down to the level it needs to be and the type one is coming on Monday, quick job on the way home for my mate and that’s me done for the week, don’t know why he can’t put a track on his own digger
  13. Little dilemma, second part of the concrete floor out and there’s another one under it, only this one is exactly the height my stone needs to be, now building control will say it needs to come out, if it was mine I would visqueen it and pour the concrete, but that’s the customers decision
  14. Toad in the hole again tonight, did the yorkie pud mix with sage and onion powder, it was very nice
  15. Getting on well with this, I think we should have it all out for tomorrow and another day to put the sub base in, the lad who owns it has been with us all day and he’s a proper grafter, so what was looking like a week should be done in 3 days
  16. Just shop bought fishcakes tonight ( posh ones though)
  17. I was in darlo last week, went down one street in the middle of the day and every other house had a tranny tipper on the drive, ether tree surgeon, driveway’s or guttering/roofing and the drives that didn’t have a tranny on had a new caravan ( lol )
