  1. I know, I’m going to try and make a bit more of an effort with tea tonight, I’m not just letting Mrs Stav down, I’m letting myself down ( lol )
  2. Got all the first fence job cleared and ready and I’ve got next door to do as well now, so most of that is out, had a look at the demolition job and it’s a big property, not sure how long that will take 2 of us to clear the site ( I’d guess, 7 to 10 days) they said they are waiting for a bat survey, so it’s anyone’s guess what will come of that
  3. Little fencing job today and next door have just asked for a price for theirs, next week I was meant to be starting a months worth of work, my mate has rang him and he’s got someone else in, which is fine, but he hasn’t had the decency to let me know, so now, so now I’ve got to look for work, hopefully the farm demolition job I’ve been asked about comes off
  4. Couldn’t be arsed tonight, I’m knackered so just did a quick bobby basic chicken dinner
  5. I was going to read that but then I noticed Arry had put up what he’s had for his tea, so I’ll give it a miss and go and look at food porn
  6. Bit more down today, he’s letting me put the edging in now ( he’ll probably re-do it all when I’m not there lol ) I’ve got a fencing job to start tomorrow so could probably give him half a day Thursday on the mixer
  7. I’ll have to see how we get on, because I’ve got my own patio I need to get done this week
  8. For me tonight, gnocchi with a roasted red pepper sauce and some proper garlic bread ( not that sh*te with garlic butter) for her, chicken and mushroom creamy pasta and garlic bread
  9. Love working with this lad, I learn loads, the place isn’t square so he’s run a boarder of 400’s then two rows of what should of been the boarder then the rest of the paving on the diagonal, it will look mint when it all down, no wonder he’s £20 an hour more than me ( lol )
  10. Easy couple of days, labouring for my mate, ( I must be the most expensive labourer in the land ) 23k just for the paving, he won’t even let me measure or cut them ( lol )
  11. Chicken dinner today, I’m done in now so going to need a nanna nap
  12. Even the firearms departments have been trying to get them off your ticket for years, it’s mad that they were ever on it, it’s a tube with now mechanical parts it doesn’t even come under the description of a firearm
  13. I’d of gone for roasted balsamic tomatoes, give you a bit of sauce and the balsamic would go with the fish and the spuds
  14. Pan fried sea bass with garlic, thyme and rosemary roasted jersey royals and griddled asparagus, it was nice but I think it should of had roasted cherry vine tomatoes, instead of the asparagus Mrs Stav disagrees
  15. Picked up some fresh gnocchi earlier, so done some of it with a tomato and chorizo sauce, it was bloody lovely
  16. It wasn’t interested at all in the call, just mousing about on the cut grass
  17. Just shot my furthest fox with the .223, 416 yards, think I’ll have a couple of hours kip now, see if anything is about at first light
  18. don’t really watch many films, but watched this this afternoon and really enjoyed it, that lad who plays spanner is excellent and if this is what you were into in the early 90’s we all knew a spanner, he is a mirror image of my mate Neil when we were in our teens
  19. View from my office and also my bed for the night, 3 silage bails up
  20. Chicken, chilli, bell pepper pasta, I’m now off to sleep in a field with my rifle, because it’s too hot to be in bed with Mrs Stav
  21. I’m having a day off today because once the mercury passes 28 I don’t do work, so I’m in with the pensioners again
  22. Got him some Biscotti, it was a toss up between that or Farm Gas but I’d never heard of that, anyway, he was over the moon when he opened it so it should give the mother-in-law some peace for a bit
  23. Got everything done today ready for the patio to go down, sold the paving I took up to next door for 60 quid so I’m going to pop to a mates and get the father-in-law a little something to ease his pains
  24. Easy one this, no drainage, nothing to break out, just strip the grass off, bit of stone and lay the patio
  25. Have another one on me
