A good days hunting today, hounds hunted well from start to finish. A good crowd enjoyed the hospitality of the Fedamores and the local pub in Dromin and supporting a very good cause at the same time. Good hunting, good people and good country. What more would you want.

I'm heading down tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes. I was meant to go today and was looking forward to seeing Togher hunt. I saw them hunt a few years ago and they were a good pack.

What normal person goes around wearing balaclavas? A person wearing a balaclava is generally up to no good and that's how you deal with someone who is up to no good. As has been said lets see the full video and the reason why he reacted the way he did. Highlights one of the dangers of the internet, we don't get the full story just one side of it, to suit that side.

Thanks Terry, yea there is a lot of sugar in these jam recipes alright, do you reckon cutting back on the sugar would affect it setting?

see one of our top studs sent to impregnate the locals and bring some good bloodlines to the area ..Rebel was picked from a few dozen candidates down here,as he had the pedigree we wanted, a good strong flat Cork accent ,a body of adonis and a mental quickness seen to be believed,,he also keeps cracking terriers and has been known to keep a sauki or two in the past.....proves everything Ive said in the past has been truthfull after listening to that clip.its obvious why we send our top studs out, that fukin accent ..... Haha the £50 is in the post.

Be sure and go to a football match when your there and bring a translator with you, haha. And ye think the Cork lads are mad, haha. Im not too far from parts of Tipp, they love there hunting and digging there, good country for it.

Sharpen Your Tools Without A Grinder
Rebel replied to GruffaloGriff's topic in Countryside Skills, Craft & DIY
Thanks Jok, I love hearing those kind of memories, there must have been some picking in a 1 tonne of rosehips. We used to call them itchy backs, end up breaking them and putting them down the back of a lads jumper. Thanks Greyman, I will give your recipe a go. -
Sharpen Your Tools Without A Grinder

I still pick rose hips and make syrup every year, rich in vitamin C and really good for your joints, finally another reason to spend an evening out in the fresh air away from shite Enders What's the recipe? Thanks -
Pothole, everyone avoids him. Poison the parish, worked in the local chip shop. Mickey one ball, after an unfortunate accident Pampers, wets the bed after drink

This is my little lady, all ready for training in her county colours. She loves her camogie and soccer. She's big into her sport and records any match on TV and watches them over and over. She has no interest in girly things, much to her mothers dismay. My son, plays hurling, soccer, swims and does athletics. It's good to have them involved in sport. Both will also gladly pass the day on the xbox and ipads, if left.

Chap on here goes from Ireland to UK, think i read he goes through the north so no passport required. Farantic I think is his username, there are a few threads with his details on it.

Foxdropper, I found this a very interesting comment and the impact it can have on a dogs working life. Do you think that the bullying can have a significant impact on the pups being bullied and could result in them not making the grade later in life for this reason? Also does the bully go on to be the good worker or can it work out the opposite, used to getting his own way and when he doesn't he walks or changes his style of work? I know each dog and litter is different and its hard to generalise. Maybe not right to compare, but we all see the effect that bullying can have on hum

Nice setup wezza. This is my setup, I'm happy with it and the dogs do really well in them. I have lights and sockets in each run and running water. Their easy to maintain and keep clean all year round.

Thanks for the info fat man and Jiggy. Does anyone know if this is a fairly new syndrome or did it occur in the past as well? It seems to be something that is affecting more and more litters? Thanks

Bitch had 6 pups,3 dogs 3 bitchs but they got that puppy syndrome disease and i lost 5 pups,1 bitch survived 10 months old 23rd january.I was later told i could have had the bitch jabbed against it but i never heard of it until it happened, lesson learned for next time i decide to breed a litter, vet said its actually a sexual transmitted disease that dogs can pass on. Fatman, when does the bitch get jabbed, when she is in pup? Thanks
