  1. You can't talk freely!!!!!!! Anyone who thinks ANY forum is immune from examination is naive in the extreme, if the powers that be want to find you then they most certainly can! I do not know Underdogs situation/licencing/etc but any talk of anything illegal on a public forum from anyone is best avoided. I am not suggesting he has done/posted anything illegal, I don't know.
  2. Something certainly seems a little unusual here!
  3. There is a National Firearms Database, should have been in existance from about 2000, but was around 5 years late and eventually emerged around 2005 (or was it 2007) from memory. Add to that all the pictures he has posted of himself, the number of people who call various members by their real names rather than their THL Username and it would take anyone with the means 5 minutes to find out who he is!
  4. I don't want to take this off topic, and I get why you want some Muntjac, but really you don't....they are a menace!
  5. You have some big Hares! The Muntjac is by far the most destructive deer in the country weight for weight, but in my view the tastiest!

    Brexit

I find it difficult to believe ANYONE could make such a pigs ear of leaving as TM has.
  7. They get a lot of flack, the B2 series, but they are simple and affordable guns that many started with. With a RRP of £59.95 for the traditional B2 who can complain. Good to see someone giving it a makeover!
  8. To be honest my .243 is primarily deer and the 90g SP works just fine for me. I have used the Hornady 58g V-Max and it is superb in mine, but better suited for fox, and I don't need to take many fox with my .243! Anyway, the .243 is not really a target round so its just a matter of what the OP actually wants to shoot with his! Nothing wrong with the Howa, so just a matter of matching ammo with barrel/quarry! As a few have mentioned, just try a few lighter rounds!
  9. As Stavross above. My .243 is a T3 Hunter and is not a great fan of the 100g, but gets on well with even cheap PRVI 90g SP.

    Brexit

I know a lot of people hate her, but we would never have got in this situation if Maggie Thatcher was negotiating!
  11. ..…. and don't forget its Mothers day!
  12. Coming to this late, a very tragic event in NZ, and now the many have to suffer because of the few yet again!
  13. It's just taking us a bit closer to self driving cars and the way they will work! Driving tests, Speeding, drink drive etc etc will all be a thing of history in a few years!
  14. The UK Government has already said they will adhere to EU spec in this area!
  15. JLR have been fitted with own brand trackers for years now...… still one of the highest brands stolen!
  16. This is a great site, with some very helpful and knowledgeable members!
  17. 47-52 yards is good shooting with a 12ft lb, especially a springer!
  18. I had one many years ago but don't recall fill pressure. Where does it say fill to 232? If its the Owners manual then I would guess its pretty safe or they will have a lot of Law suits against them and go broke...again!
  19. Good luck! Silica gel works well to, just really depends on the phone.
  20. It will not necessarily state specifically on your FAC where you can shoot, actually its quite unlikely. However, when your FAC is Open/Unrestricted you can shoot wherever you deem safe and have permission. If you don't have an Open/Unrestricted FAC (often the case at first grant) then you need to make sure the land is cleared for the calibres you use, refer to police!
  21. Day or Night fox is fine with 17HMR. If you want more there are hornets, .204, 222, 223 etc, you don't need to head straight for a .243. These were all at night with HMR, not great distances I seem to remember, probably hardly over 100 yards and most closer!

    Brexit

The Government has rejected a petition calling for Brexit to be stopped, which has gathered more than 5.75 million signatures. The Department for Exiting the EU said: "It remains the Government's firm policy not to revoke Article 50. We will honour the outcome of the 2016 referendum and work to deliver an exit which benefits everyone, whether they voted to Leave or to Remain. "Revoking Article 50, and thereby remaining in the European Union, would undermine both our democracy and the trust that millions of voters have placed in Government.
