Who knows as you don't mention a model, anyway, valving MAY be different, probably barrel band, who knows about sights, and the magazine of course. In simple terms, unless the gun itself offers a fairly straightforward barrel replacement I would forget it. If you really want a bigger cal, sell it and buy one, probably a much better and cheaper option!!

Unless you are very good with a Black & Decker or the barrel is interchangeable then I suspect you are looking at a problem.

Didn't go last year, decided to make it a Bi annual event for me, I used to love it in the old days, but the latest reincarnation seems a pale shadow of the past. Hope this year is better!

As already said, many pistols, especially the cheaper ones, struggle to get any much past 3ft lb. Very few are close to the limit of 6ft lb, and those tend to be in the upper end of the price scale. I use a BSA Magnum in .177, well over 30 years old and running somewhere between 3.5-4ft lb I seem to remember. Perfectly adequate for caged squirrels (as long as you put it in the right place). Anything bigger/tougher, I am fortunate to have one of these....................

I do like my HMR, BUT, are you still having ammo problems? I haven't bought any fresh ammo for ages, I have access to massive stocks but it is the older stuff, so still get plenty of split cases!
