The Charity Commission first opened a case into the charity in March 2021 over its accounts, which showed in its first year just £160,000 was given away in charitable grants, while £240,000 was spent on management and fundraising costs.
The watchdog expanded it to a statutory inquiry in June 2022 after becoming concerned about arrangements between the charity and a company linked to Sir Tom's daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore, and her husband Colin.
