  1. It occurs to me it may more sense to the air gunners to see a comparison with a .22 and .177 pellet as well, best I can do with my phone and flash, but I think you get the idea..............
  2. My current Rimfire selection. Available in the Classifieds Guns & Rifles for sale section, the 16" .22lr Silhouette. CZ American .22WMR CZ Silhouette .17HMR CZ Silhouette .22lr CZ Silhouette .22lr 16" Barrel Magtech .22lr Semi The 16" Silhouette is the newest and hardly used, I let off a couple of shots yesterday to make sure it worked! (cleaned it again since!) It was bought with the intention of being a Company rifle but great plans change, sometimes quickly, and it is now surplus to requirements, available for sale at a VERY competitive price.
  3. I have no idea as I have never had a T3 mag apart, but it does seem odd. Out of interest the T3 .243 mag does only holds 3, plus 1 in the chamber, total 4
  4. Walshie I have no idea what is going on here, I have a T3 Lite Stainless .223, about 8 years old now. It holds 4 in the magazine, Fact, end of, just tried it in light of the comments here. You can of course load one and make a total of 5, but the magazine hold 4. This is the Standard magazine, a larger one is available and holds 6-7 I believe.
  5. I spent some time in the company of a happy Daystate Wolverine owner yesterday and he let me steal some pellets. Just for interest......... 55gHP 50g 40g (I think I got those weights right) and a .22lr 40g for comparison. The HP on the 55g is massive.
  6. Are you in Oxford, I'm up that way on Sunday, and probably again between Christmas and New Year, in the Islet/Kidlington area, is that anywhere near you?
  7. Just so we are on the same wave length, these are both used, they have superficial loading marks (No Damage) and are about 6 months old. Obviously they both work fine, but I simply have more than I need. If you are still interested by all means give me a shout Payday!
  8. I have 2 x 10 shot Plastic, .22lr/17HM2 £40 total delivered to UK mainland.
  9. SOLD Genuine CZ 10 round Plastic .22LR (.17 HM2) magazine (452/453/455/512/513) 2 x 10 Round magazines for sale, used, superficial loading marks, only approx. 6 months old, £40 including delivery to UK mainland.
  10. Absolute bargain, approx. 6 months old and bought as a spare Company rifle but things change, sometimes quickly. CZ Silhouette .22lr 16" barrel, Hawke Eclipse 3-9x40 Mil Dot and mounts, Proofed Moderator and 6-9" Bipod, Rimfire Magic Trigger kit fitted, excellent condition. NOW SOLD PM with any questions. Cheers
  11. ....add to that the fact reloaders tinker all the time, there is always a better load to be found and they keep looking, even if they have a load that already works well. No question accuracy can be improved over factory for virtually everyone, and costs relate to usage, if you do shoot a lot then savings can be made, but as said don't necessarily get into reloading with the aim of saving money. Also consider accuracy, I use PRVI .223/243/308, all deliver 1" in my rifles, for sure I can improve that reloading, but hit anything with a CF and it falls down whether it is 1" or 1/2"
  12. The more things your permission letter covers is NOT good, it simply complicates things, restricts you and gives you a whole load of parameters to comply with, on top of which, few, if any landowners are interested in reading/signing a contract several pages long binding them and you to a whole load of rules. http://basc.org.uk/?s=permission+letter&x=0&y=0 BASC letter, how complicated is that, fancy telling the BASC they have not covered enough? I am not rubbishing any calibre, you simply don't get it do you, if you like charts so much look up a 17 rem or Fireball, .204, or a 222/223
  13. It's better to be water tight than have things go wrong later. But why buy more rifle than you need? If there's a rimfire capable of despatching squirrels or other vermin / game at out to 300 yards, then why go to the expense of a CF to do the same job? If you already have a CF or want to shoot fox at that range then fair enough, but in the absence of that, WSM seems to fill the hole between LR and CF quite nicely, especially as its unlikely you'll be regularly taking shots at that range anyway. What it gives is flexibility. A rifle that will happily shoot at yards all day for 30p a sh
  14. Computer and network surveillance programs are widespread today, and almost all Internet traffic is or could potentially be monitored for clues to illegal activity.Surveillance is very useful to governments and law enforcement to maintain social control, recognize and monitor threats, and prevent/investigate criminal activity. With the advent of programs such as the Total Information Awareness program, technologies such as high speed surveillance computers and biometrics software, and laws such as the Communications Assistance For Law Enforcement Act, governments now possess an unprecedented a

There is no denying he is the best Tennis player we have seen in many years, unfortunately, the "Personality" is lacking, as already mentioned!

  17. I am totally with that, BUT, it is a free world. For Target work there are much better, and for field work there are much better, and on a Technical note, I believe these Rambo lookalikes are designed to work with HV .22lr, which is not the best plan for Close range Pest Control as alluded to.
  18. Who knows but on a fleece probably Fabsil or the like!
  19. I think the point with termination is provide certainty. Other wise if you got stopped by the police, the landowner could say I saw you last night and told you I'd terminated the permission. I think the point in specifying it to be in writing and by registered post is to prevent exactly that type of situation occuring as the terminations isn't valid unless its in writing and has been sent by registered post. My point in adding 7 days notice is to strenghten that further and reduce any possibility of it being withdrawn without you having read the delivered notice. Like I said, you are thinking
  20. Yes,.....lets not get into the V-Max and A-Max debate.
  21. You don't need a sharp axe to split wood as shown, a quite blunt one will work well, the axe is a wood splitter, has a wide blade and is heavy, it is designed to split wood as shown and does it with minimum effort, it isn't a cutting/felling axe! ATB!
  22. You're welcome but it's not mine. It's a combination of several on here. Actually the more I think about it the more sense there is in altering the termination wording to: "This authority remains in force until terminated by myself or appointed agent by giving 7 days notice in Writing using Registered Post" (words in italics only to highlight the change). I don't know what others think here as to whether or not this would be acceptable to landowners but the danger I see is that without the above, what happens if the post arrives one day and you don't get chance to read it and go
