No problem , I couldn’t give a monkey what lads catch on the dales for simple fact is I’m not interested in rabbits with dogs , I was just stateing that I believe dogs have been made legends from running on the dales , which me personally if I was going to use a stud dog over a bitch I would rather use a dog that could catch 15/20 a night all over the country than a dog that’s catching 70/80 on the dales , if I was after a rabbiting type dog that is , and I’ve watched a couple of your videos on YouTube and your dogs seem plenty able to catch in testing terrain /hedges/dykes etc etc , but

I’ll agree with that , lad I no caught 65 on lamp with 1/2 spaniel 1/4 whippet 1/4 beddy also another lad I no went up dales on an invite and had 37 out of 40 runs , and that dog couldn’t catch 5 or 6 local And another lad who caught 7 out 10 with a full beddy which had never been on lamp befor lol

Hard to give advice without seeing him but I’d spend a little more time manning him around other people then get him in field and start small calls feel his keel see if he is carrying to much weight if he’s not focused on you

Purple methalted spirits , stick it in a jar fully cover week and half get it out wash it in shampo twice then conditioner once dry with hair dryer , get a wine cork drill through with decent size drill bit , get strong fishin line tie it round end tail ( where cut ) pull it in to the cork , but super glue leave to dry , then get one them little curtain hook tie things with screw bit on them screw it in cork and then hang up Or do what I do fasten it to a anal but plug for a gift for wife’s lesbian friends or for the mother in law ?

Yeah weather just been a compleat pain in the ass so far , I’ve not been doing a great lot with my female , well I’ve been trying she just doesn’t seem to be committed , and only connecting with a couple of bit s .. weights right fitness is good just can’t seem to connect with much , she took a real bad nock end last season where she hit a low hidden fence when she struck for a rabbit , at first was touch and go if she made it , think it’s nocked her confidence a little so mite have go back to the dummy bunny lure

Best runner I’ve ever seen was a 22/23” bull grey bitch not heavy not to light small little head an looked like it couldn’t do a days ferreting , the bitch would kill anything, and I don’t mean swing it round for 15 minutes till it died of boredom She could do anything you could lamp and then do a day with the terriers and could show up big heavy types , she was lined and did produce similar to her self and one bitch pup came out same size and same working abilities think she was barren

I have hob that burns a lot of weight , he is a fast hard worker and he uses a lot of energy keeping him self busy in his pen , I used to feed a lot of pigeon and pheasant to him but he would lose weight still on them so now just feed him full rabbits , just remove guts , he also has some fatty beef mince from time to time and some milk and raw eggs

Strait mixture mate , stick the tail in one them tall sealable tubs for spaghetti sticks cover it in purple meths leave it couple week then get it out wash it and condition it dry it , stays fluffy and soft for years
