Been today for couple hour My mate brought his lurcher that’s not done a great deal we walked past some cracking sets dog never marked he netted them and nothing but the crappy ones he marked was holding after a couple of times he started trusting the dog lol

Can’t beat a marker , we walked past a set last week looked abandoned, dog marked we had 8 out of it , havnt seen 8 in a long time , if didn’t get a mark we would walked past as it looked that unused

I find it nuts how people think that coming on a hunting fourm where everyone hunts and asking for ferreting /shooting /lamping permission is going get them any permission , especial with the shortage of rabbits lately no one going start giving permission up to some one they never met befor lol

The lad was thinking of breeding some 3/4 terrier 1/4 spaniel or 3/4 terrier 1/4 whippet he’s not fully decided yet as he has no desire to be digging to it when on days/nights out he mostly just mooches about with catty bushing ferreting and the odd bit of lamping his mate has a spaniel whippet (accidental mating ) which is a good mooching dog but sometimes If there’s other dogs there it stays out of the cover waiting for the bolt what’s in your terriers make up is he/she of line bred bushers or earth dogs as well

Nice to see the terriers out catching , was out other night with a little patterdale bitch out on the lamp round some old rough ground lamping rabbits and rats with terrier and me mate with catty , great bit of fun so much so that he’s planning on breeding some 3/4 terrier for bushing/mooching about with catty
