When we was kids we would be out from early morning tramping the woods, I remember a group of us leaving the site and walking the woods near Belvoir castle, we had been looking for" kaney yoras"phesant eggs along the Heage rows to take home, once we had anufe we walked the woods mucking about as all kids do, we came across a keeper's shed that had a few nasty looking traps, we told our mams, dad's when we got home and forgot about them, we moved few days later and traps were in the scrap on the dray. definitely get her spayed, find her a good family home, a old fella few doors down rescued one and it's changed is life as well as the dogs. Nothing wrong with pet homes all my dogs are members of the family, when they can no longer work etc they will retire to the couch. Atb

I was searching for a pup on net and came across poodle pups, I contacted breeder and she said her toy poodles go rabbiting, bushing and do better than the sight hounds which wait around outside brablesbrambles etc."bushing" she used to breed beardy x whippets but they are two old now so tried poodles as they have bags of stamana and very brainy compared to other lurcher s, I believe she is well none for deerhounds. 750 a pup is a lot of money for a lurcher but I'd give one ago if I was gifted a pup. They do look handy little things, bit like a Bedlington whippet. Think her kennel is called ce

A good mate as a pure acd, he said I could use it as stud, he was liveing in Oz and he brought two back to UK with him but female was pts at 14 yr and dog is ten. I think more folk are working this x than you think. Atb

When ever iv had a sapling I try find a area with mixy, gives a young dog confidence, not very sporting I know but better than dropping. Just enjoy your pup and everything will fall in place, atb j

I'm really happy with her, she done well last season, the only time she barks is when she's near Charlie, deer other wise she's mute. She will face any cover and the whippets catch as doubled since she came along, atb j

Had her from a pup mate, her dam was first x Bedlington whippet, father was Patterdale x russell. Lad who bred her was a game keeper and both parents are good workers. She's five now and she's done me proud so far. Good around a Warren , and she's pusht several deer to gun, she's a good busher and she's dropped to ground twice, she's a joy to have and works great whith my whippet. I'm still looking for a Bedlington pup, hope you're OK atb j
