This might not help but be prepared for more NO’s than you’ve heard before. But be stubborn and just keep chipping away, I gave the one farmer a card every time I seen him, after about 6 cards he caved and took pity on me. Just be polite and use your manners even if it’s a no. I never really knocked many doors but I’d deviate journeys to pass land I wanted, you catch them eventually

It’s a huge hurdle, but once your over it it all tends to open up a bit. I found the business cards worked well but you need to be out and about!

No worries, I know what you are saying but the trend Keeps repeating itself, come autumn they have died off anyway. If I thought a small number were overwintering I would leave off. also it’s a golf course so I need to be seen to be doing a bit so I don’t lose it to someone else. I don’t snare any other perms

They’re few and far between here, small pockets dotted about, I’m sure they’ll recover given time, I’ve increased my summer snaring because the good numbers I’m seeing during summer are gone come winter

Eley pigeon or GB pigeon depending which shop I go to. Do the job for me although a while ago I had a slab of fiocchi as that’s what they had in at the time, they were excellent carts!!
