My wife tends to plan the route & book b&b’s small hotels etc & just tells me nxt days destination as my geographical knowledge is shocking & tbf she does a bloody good job ? Atb

Tommo. Yeah we saw quite a few in different places locals told us it was where they used to store there grain & harvest & animal feed to keep it away from rats etc. You see so much more when you go off the beaten track & tourist routes ? atb

Cheers Tommo we did 14 days last year on m/bike northern spain & portugal all out of the way places. We only do 4/5 hrs a day travelling so we can enjoy where we stay over. most places we went spoke no english or very little was cracking trip especially up in the mountains. Weve done France Belguim Italy & bit of Switzerland previous years but liked Northern Spain best.And your right bud the scenery is stunning. Atb
