I usually freeze my rabs for at least 10 days before defrosting them (fully) before I feed them to the ferts. The freezing process kills any germs, bugs etc they might have which could be passed on to the ferts. However, when they hunt in the wild, they will catch fresh, guts in, and all quarry so it's a bit of a toss up. Do your best! HTH. Cheers, D.

Sometimes use the NV spotting scope when lamping but it needs to be realllllly dark to get an advantage. Better on a gun set up with a NV scope. Really effective then. Cheers, D.

I have a mist spray bottle (a quid or 2 from your local garden centre) filled with cold water. When it's hot I give the ferts a spray with it. They love it! and do the ferret boogie! Cheers, D.

Exactly. Give them respect. Stretch 'em, chop 'em or chin 'em. Any way do it quick and properly and minimise their suffering. We are hunters, respect your quarry. Cheers, D.

Find a local trout fishery and give them a ring. Tell them your circumstances and in most cases they will give you a load of help. Information on licensing, tackle and tactics. They'll lend you some kit and advise you on what to buy. Your local fishing club will also do the same if your into coarse fishing. HTH. Cheers, D.

If you get chance mate, give the inside a couple of coats of quick drying varnish before the ferts come. Also a bit of concrete sealant in their run if poss. It makes things easier in the long term. Good luck. Cheers, D. -
Good luck withe sale mate. Mines an 05 with sat nav and full leather etc etc etc. Paid over 17K about 2 years ago. FNSH etc etc, 30K miles. Worth about 8K to sell! Keeping mine till it dies! Cheers, D.

How Much To Get A Fert Castrated <- (Spelling)

I get my ferts from the rescue place. £10 donation and they are vet checked and castrated or speyed. Bargain! Always get a "this" or "last years" one and they'll work for you no probs . (obviously given the right treatment/ handling/housing/diet etc, etc, etc.) My last 3 have all been first class. Cheers, D. -

If you get one from a ferret rescue place, they will be speyed/nuetered whatever the sex. Vet checked etc, for about a donation of a tenner. I have 3 all top workers. Value. ATB, Cheers, D.
