  1. yeah, yeah, yeah, seen that! I meant what happened to the post about new methods of poaching? I read 20 out of 23 pages and it was pulled before I saw any tips other than how to slag people off! Cheers, D.
  2. Did this thread get pulled? I read through about 20 pages of crap for about an hour and then it went before I could read the last few pages. Please advise, my soap opera fixation's kicking in........
  3. How do you cook yours? Nail its head to a fencing post and slit a ring but behind its fins on the side, then with a pair of pliers pull of of the skin off and then cut off the head. 8. Cornish landowners haven't had some of the hassles that "Up country" ones have. I know this from experience. Countrymen round here (mostly) are that. I pick up new permission all the time, seldom knowing the people before I ask. There's a lot of "so called" countrymen around, the greater the population of an area, the more wannabees/neverwillbees. there are. We have a low population compared to the size of the area and so more of a "local" feeling. Apologies and no disrespect to ALL genuine country men "up country" and also for my etended use of " "s. Cheers, D.
  9. Steam in pressure cooker for 10 mins, strip off the bone and wack it in a pan with veg, salt pepper, gravy stock and stew the blastard Its nice like that. DO NOT simply roast in the oven like a chicken......they taste crap like that and you will hate them for life. Regards Cook it like chicken WHEN OFF THE BONE, pies, stir-fries, curries, etc. Otherwise cook on the bone in stews, casseroles etc. It goes very well with smoked bacon in a pie, I had some earlier! Cheers, D.
