    muck boots

Just spent 48 quid this morning on a new pair, the Esk. Holed one of the others big style on a piece of granite. Two years old and still going strong although the heel socks wear out. They are warm, comfy but a bit slippy, especially when walking across a wet sloping grass field. Cheers, D.

  3. If your road legal you don't need a lid on the road either. Cheers, D.
  4. Well done mate! Great name for a dog but he looks a bit too young to be running on hard ground. Take it steady. Cheers, D.

  6. Me and mine have had an Anus Horriblis (or whatever Charlie said) in 2008. Hope we and all on the site have a great 2009. Cheers, D.
  7. I think i've made it quite clear what the situation is!!!!! But for those who are not sure, Markbrick has got the ball in his court, now he can either give the lad a break and be sporting by giving his dog a chance to heal, or he can say no its gotta be run on the 6th.......if W.H's dog cant run by end of january, then the decision will be taken away from them and Mark will go through on a BYE.........does that clear it up for you??? I'm sure MB will wait until the other dog is as fit as can be at the appointed date to ensure a fair contest. He does like a bet but he is a sportsman
  8. Get a Jimny mate, not much room in the back but go anywhere and 30+ mpg and fairly cheap isurance, £115 a year to tax and cheap to maintain plus very reliable. HTH. Cheers, D.
  9. Try putting her in the car without the engine running for twenty minutes or so several times and then start the engine but don't move the car. Try this several times, maybe giving her a treat to get her to associate the car with "good times." HTH. Cheers, D.
  10. If that's all you've had so far I'd sell it on...............

  15. Sorry fella, RIP Billy. Regards, D.
  16. It's all right on the way out, down the hill. It's the 30lb of rabbits to carry back up that does it! Less of course 1/2lb of sandwiches which doesn't make much difference. Well done. Cheers, D.
  17. Nice stuff TOMO, that's proper Winter time rabbiting. Cheers, D.
  18. A couple of weeks ago a member on here, RedLorryYellowLorry posted a request for a night or two out as his hunting partner kept letting him down. Via a few PMs and phone calls we arranged for him to come down for a shine last night. We met at the arranged place and exchanged greetings, both us and dogs and loaded into mine and away to the first bit of permission. Weather started off perfect and we had had 5 when the hail came down so we finished that patch and moved on. RLYL admitted that his bitch was not fit and I thought she looked a bit heavy but she was keen as mustard and didn't miss
  19. I've only seen and held one of these, not lamped with one, but it's definitely on my Christmas list! They're very light weight. http://www.northeastfieldsports.co.uk/lamp...y-pack-151.html Out of stock on NEF site though Thanks for that SS, nice kit but a bit pricey and would really prefer a 14 or 17ah one, otherwise would need to buy two!! Cheers, D.
  20. I usually use the blazer light or the lazer light with few problems with the lamps. It's the batteries that hack me off. Whats the best battery pack available?
  21. Good luck to all, may the best dog win. Have the crack and a great weekend with no problems. Cheers, D.
