  6. thanks for reply, only ever heard of people walking banks with a torch/lamp and away, did you watch plates untill dark and was that your only fishing area? Could of been fish lying above and below, sounds as risky as netting.Never found netting to be risky,easiest was to bag up,had some very big bags of fish when i was a kid.when ever you heard of lads getting caught it was always further down netting, can't mind any getting caught how I describe above.used to net for years mate,salmo (as whin would say)and sea trout,had a lot of fish,not even had a chase and sometimes i had a net out a couple

  10. Fair play hope it turns out well, spent the same on one of mine 10-11 year ago and he's still going, had just had a dog PTS so was prob letting heart rule but don't regret it.
