    Just going off adverts Platt breeds 1/4 bred, 1st cross and I think he's up to 12th generation 1/2 crosses.

I'd say daytime hunting I'd have one. i had a half cross a long time ago took a long time to mature bomb proof temp easy to handle.Hunting up daytime was his strongest point. must be a trait, my old 1/4 bred is/was in his element hunting up even on barren ground. Mine is at his best when he is finding his own gear to huntmines got nothing to do with Hancock he's from north east.

    Some really impressive kennels on here especially the stone work. Always kept mine in house but have built a kennel at work for nowt, Assorted wire and wood for run and the sleeping box is made out of two insulated doors cut up, dog goes through a carpet flap and turns through second door to keep drafts out, or sleeps on top, does the job.
