If folk like deerhounds, they are going to use them in their plans. The most obvious thing your not going to get using something else is temperament

No bother, time will tell. Don't know if you were being serious about the 15+ cats, but who had so many cats and why? Do you really believe something as big as that would stay quiet for long? If it had of happened it would of been great for the reintroduction argument, but nothing mentioned

No bother. My point was other crosses hunt naturally, but lamp fine. Also pointers or any gundog wouldn't be much good if they just did as they pleased
