  1. Surely if he/they were just in it for the money, it would be easier to get a load of greyhounds(like Hancock) and pump out 1st crosses and charge more than they do, or breed the latest must have KC dogs?
  2. ?...Suppose when you were saying nice things about the pups earlier in this thread, you were just trying to home them as well..?
  3. Nothing made up. You were asking about a spare pup for a mate/family member. Must of thought they were alright then. Don't understand the rest, trying to push a welp?
  4. Weren't you asking about one of the spare pups ?
  5. " However, of the two three quarter crosses I kept for myself," is it not? Prob to much greyhound
  6. Yep, take mine all over from the start, think it does them good. More likely it's growing like shark said and bits haven't caught up? And how feet look doesn't always match how durable they are?
  7. The flyball dogs are worked up, they do it with the other breeds they use. Think it's getting them out and if the quirks bother you. Meet all sorts of people with farm bred collies and failed sheepdogs and they're fine. And some of the trial dogs are work dogs as well
  8. Pet collie at work is a born moucher, hunts up constantly, marks, had a fair variety over the years, glass brim full sort of dog. She does chase vehicles though and if she's left out she makes her own entertainment digging out young rabbits, catching fledglings and barking at passing crows etc ?
  9. Yeah that's the fella. The footage I've seen was a disappointment. Slow mo, just going through the motions, and making heavy weather of it
  10. HP was on a program about country life magazine, he said all sorts of people from all over were offering him silly money for his pups after they were in/on the mag??? Words to that effect anyway
  11. Pup around £1000 - up ? Who's going to sell a champ Stud £200 up to pup price depending who's got it... ?
  12. Don't know if it's all his doing, a lot of gens for one fella. Get fresh blood from the 1st X's. Often has pups and using young males at min
  13. Don't know the man or dogs, but he's up to around 12th generation DG X DG. His stud 1st cross is Price cut X his own deer bitch with Doxhope breeding i think. Aren't them new huge 1st X's off a German deerhound stud
  14. Aye and a bit more. Nice compact greyhound, much better than these big 30" donkeys
  15. Have a look in the for sale section, there's a young dog with the same sire
  16. Could be right, but lots of hill farms etc have collies that aren't eye dogs
  17. And lots of the people that had them aren't on the scene anymore
  18. Hardly any experience of Wheaton, but yes imo and they are probably looking for a deerhound type..and they aren't all rough...
  19. Might be a bit old to breed at 20 ?
  20. Neither here nor there. Folk have said you'd be better off with a Saluki lurcher, but you like galgos..next person will say you'd be better off with something else ??
