He was an awesome player and a big personality on the pitch - he didn't mind it rough but, he knew how to play like a gentleman at the same time. This is a good article - I like the picture of him helping Mat Dawson up https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-3323480/amp/Jonah-Lomu-rugby-freak-broke-heart-loved-feels-like-death-family.html
  2. He didn't relocate that - he just said that so that he can throw one up a vegan anti that he's got his eye on 2 seconds after the camera went off, he was playing whack-a-mole with a spade

  11. I always remember Nan and Mum moaning if the pudding stuck and split when they were getting it out ........ Beginners luck was definitely on my side today - it came out perfectly And, it tastes and smells exactly as I remember - I do like this sort of simple old fashioned grub
  12. Then, put it in the pan while the water is cold. ......... Bring it to the boil and, boil it for 1hr 20mins, turning halfway through
  13. I've had a taste for this sInce it was mentioned on here a few days ago Nan used to cook it when we were kids so, it's one of those flavours that I remember from childhood. Mum also made it but, I haven't had it for more than 15yrs now. Today, one of my rare days off, I thought f**k it, I'll make one ........... This is how Nan used to make it. Make the suet pastry and roll it out. Put on the cut up bacon and onion, with some parsley and black pepper then, wet the edges and roll it up - sealing the side and tucking in the ends. Then,

    fireworks

Bonfire night is one of my favourites - the fire has always been my favourite bit but, I do like the food and the fireworks as well. We usually have a small get-together round ours on the 5th. Our 2 dogs are a bit apprehensive at first but, it doesn't take them long to be sat at the back door while the fireworks are going off.
  21. I never did listen to that bollocks anyway I was brought up to believe that you need a bit of everything to be healthy. ......... I used to love Grandads dripping sandwiches with a bit of salt in the 80s.
