A nice couple of hours with the Beeman C1
Jonjon79 replied to Jonjon79's topic in General Airgun Discussion
It's spot on Jimmy and, the chrome work is holding up really well ....... but, I do give them a quick wipe with Balistol when I get home. I forgot to say about that - anytime that C1 makes an appearance at the club, it gets attention ....... it's something that most have never seen so, it does generate interest. Those Hades are pretty good - they're a bit gimmicky but, they are accurate. ........ they're good in my '77 as well but, they really push the power up for some reason The C1 is a cracking little rifle mate - I like how it looks an -

The view from the carpark at Black Cat is always good, regardless of the weather The view of the crackling, cooked with salt and honey in my kitchen later wasn't too bad either -

As it's been a while, I kept the range short - 20yrds and, tried a few different pellets. 15 shot groups......... JSB Hades top left H&N FTT top right JSB Exact bottom left Polymag Shorts bottom right .............. more practice required -
As some of you will remember, this was the C1 that Ethan and Jimmy brought back to life and, Si worked his magic on the internals After mentioning it to Ethan on his return thread, I thought it was about time to get it back out again - it's been a while. ........ all I've done to it is add a sling and mount a little Hawke Sport 4x32 duplex in a Dampa mount - apart from that, it's exactly as I recieved it and, I think it looks great It's not the easiest thing to shoot - the straight stock and single stage trigger promotes a quick shot style and, it really does p

Absolute scum They should be marched straight out of the court and given a bullet in the carpark.

Typical black Labour politician - throw the right wing label at it because she doesn't like it. I'm surprised that it's taking Dianne Abbott so long to have a pop - in her mind, Brexit is probably a white colonialist conspiracy.

They shit themselves when we voted to leave - now we have a prime minister that won't bend over for them they're clutching at straws. They should be told to get to f**k for trying to interfere in another countries parliament. c**ts would all be speaking German and working for the fuhrer if it wasn't for our grandparents - I hope they go bust and learn some humility.

Christ ...... How big was the feckin spider?

Sod that - if I was out and saw what I honestly thought to be a big cat, I would not be trying to get closer. ......... how fast can something like a Puma cover 20yrds if it decides you're dinner?

There's only 1 thing for that Sam.......

Same thing that happened while May was in - f**k all. None of them want to leave and, none of them are capable of agreeing on how to deal with Brexit so, they'll keep frustrating any votes and kicking the leave date down the road in the hope that it will all quietly go away. One of the problems at the moment is Germanys economy - if they hit a recession and we haven't gone, you can guarantee that the parasitic EU will try to say that we're legally obliged to help with a big ol' bail out.

Nice gesture Greyman - good on you

In a letter of the time to his wife Mary Sue,[41]Hubbard said that, in order to assist his research, he was drinking alcohol and taking stimulants and depressants ("I'm drinking lots of rum and popping pinks and greys"). His assistant at the time, Virginia Downsborough, said that she had to wean him off the diet of drugs to which he had become accustomed. No shit

If you're searching for something mate, scientology ain't it

It has mate - Dee rd estate (where I grew up) is still a shit hole. The Oxford road is a perfect case study for how not to do multiculturalism (Labours wet dream). But, the top end of Tilehurst, by the water tower, is still pretty good ?

We see quite a few by Mum & Dads place in Tilehurst, Reading - I guess they could be nesting in Lousehill Copse. When we moved them into their bungalow a few years ago, they were everywhere - we counted more than 20 flying around. One even came down into the back garden for the dogs bone while I was out there. ....... I like seeing them.
