  1. As you say fair play to him, I'm sure if he puts the graft in (whatever he chooses) there will be opportunities to make a few quid... a man and a van is a useful commodity... house/shed clears, rubbish clearing, gardening, window cleaning, some diy type works (if he can turn his hand), deliveries... or a mixture of all... its getting your head down and finding the opportunities... far too many doom and gloom merchants around, you've just got to be willing to graft and spot an opening.... "it's there for everyone" (as my old man used to tell me)... good luck to the lad. think the lads strugglin
  2. I did but it's called a bulbar and a tow bar when I hear the sound of breaking glass I,ve gone to far, works well
  3. he got sparked out because he was already courting with the Tory,s, just like carswell a total judas, career politicians will sing from any hymn book as long as they don't have to work for a living, lazy back stabbing shisters
  4. Giving the tips away see tryin to help brethren On thl out . Plus you know it's not for everyone, getting stopped by the old bill all the time, being called a skip rat and told to f**k off on a regular basis, everyone that knows me well, know how I make a living but it's to much effort for most of them, and these days everyone is a mobile phone video grass as well, I get filmed almost weekly by some goody goody with to much time on there hands and usually I,m doing nothing wrong, they just don't like the look of me or my old truck, that's the down sides

    Plaster

.i don't bother with the watering down just buy cheap homebrand paint and make sure it's Matt, not silk or vinyl as they form a skin over the plaster which will peel over time
  6. there is loads of multi drop work around nowadays for a man with a van as every fecker is to busy or to lazy to get to the shops
  7. I was expecting to see a tennis ball when I read the title
  8. Feck all that nonsense I just get my starting handle out,
  9. . The others are right regarding the fact it's easier to just buy a packet but sometimes you just have to try it for yourself, my advice would be to get yourself a kilo of soya meal and a kilo of semolina, and a few bottles of flavour, it's the easiest mix to roll and has been used by many of the big firms for years, if you decide it's not for you, you have not wasted a fortune, if you decide you want to continue, you can start adding a few more ingredients to the mix to make it more unique, in the cold weather I would add a bird food like emp to the mix, as fish can't digest protein very wel
  10. adding an ox Spring is a bit like soaking your pellets in diesel, you get more power but you can't control it and it will lead to damage, I'd rather have 10ft lb and good accuracy than 12.5ft lb and struggle to hit a door, smoothness is what you want, plenty of metal polishing and minimal lube
  11. there is a guy in w,s,m with one of them, he makes a very tidy living shifting, cars and boats for people that are a bit to big for a normal 4x4 but don't warrant a Lorry, as its American a lot of people into American cars use him to take em to shows and the like nice little earner
  12. everything that comes over the boundary is yours including roots, my friend had a simular situation with a large tree on his neighbours side of the boundary, it was big,old and a danger to my mates property, but the guy next door would not let him touch it, so after digging a trench inside my mates fence all the roots were chopped off as we're all the branches that crossed the line, you have to offer them to the neighbor as they are his property, I don't think he wanted them judging by the language used, then during the next big storm it fell across the neighbours garden and not my mates house
  13. I`m gonna buy you a beer one of these days Mac. They mentioned fitting a BSA piston head seal shaved down which is not for me. The airgun spares site is selling genuine parts and made replacement parts, so now she stands a very good chance of staying with me. Only one beer twat ! mate I just bought an end of ptfe bar about 9" long for a fiver off eBay and made loads of piston heads just get one the same size as the internal of the cylinder then slice it up into the thickness you want, it's very
  14. I thought as a non native, rodent nause, they were fair game by any means, same as a rat, ? I,m off on a 120 mile trip now fishing
  15. I had a little whippet cross back in the 80s that was a master at catching squirrel, they normally run up the tree to a safe height then turn round and start chattering, she mastered a tequniqe were she ran flat out after the squirrel and as they stopped to turn she would hit the trunk and shoot upwards grabbing them off the trunk in the process, I never took it really serious, just on walks in the local wood her best trip was five squirrels in a couple of hours, she also went to ground and would quickly kill a fox on here own, I paid £2.50 for her in the local dog pound, and back in the days
  16. good boots and a warm hat, cold comes in through your feet and heat leaves through your head, my sons been up near Telford fishing since Wednesday I will travel up to meet him in the night and we will sleep outside under a bivvie, until Sunday night, there is know such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes
  17. i,m a bit of a Landy purist and I think, that thing like most modern Landy,s would be left wanting against a proper 101 ,I think the beauty of the original series 1-2-3 and the 101 was the fact they could be repaired at the side of the road if they ever did break down, were as a modern one has to be fixed by a technician with a diagnostics computer and a van full of spare parts, landrover ceased making proper Landy,s after the 200tdi defender, from there on it was all down hill, if you want to go fast get a sports car but if you want to go anywhere get a proper landrover I thought the 300tdi w
  18. Thanks for the kind words, To be fair it was so knackered when I got it, there was nothing to lose, I might not have been so bold if it was worth saving, the metalwork was rusty, the barrel bent and it was doing around 6ft,lb it was also given me free, it was good to try before I try it on an hw80 which I,ve always fancied doing, cheers
  19. Hmm, there's a thought I sold my old Mercury Challenger to a biker - I might go see if he still lives at the same address but, it was 20 yrs ago. I'd love to have that one back. never had a challenger so I made one even better, it bangs out 11.5lb with five coils removed from the spring I,ve honed the cylinder made a ptfe piston head, top hat ,Spring guide and opened up the breech port, it was about 2mm it's now tapered from inside from around 6mm down to 3.5mm i also cut the barrel down and recrowned it then fitted a vortex silencer it is smooth and quick and at 25 meters it's almost pellet
  20. Hmm, there's a thought I sold my old Mercury Challenger to a biker - I might go see if he still lives at the same address but, it was 20 yrs ago. I'd love to have that one back. sorry double post
  21. . If you have time get a rummage on around your local charity shops, a lot of elder people require a stick and when they pass on it usually ends up in a house clearance down at the local charity shop, some of them have a big box full of them, usually the normal wooden crook type, but the odd nice one ,good luck with the knee and the stick hunt
  22. Who forced you to read it all? if people have a valid point or some useful information I,m all ears, I,m not a leftie or a righty, I have know religion, and my family are as ethnically diverse as you can get I,m open to all intelligent arguments from every side, but sadly your blinkered political leanings are blinding your opinions and killing what could have been an interesting topic, know one forced me to read anything but I hung on in hope, now after ten pages of shite from your good self, I'm not only loosing hope, but the will to live also, I,m sure I,m not alone, so I thought I would a
  23. Do Russian and Syrian airstrikes not displace people and create refugees then? Earlier you were quite happy to accept those displaced by airstrikes as collateral damage, seems you're the one who's relaxed with the idea of creating more refugees...About as much as western air strikes don't you agree???It's part of war yes, do I want then coming to this country? Do I fcuk..... Why the need to let them in here? Plenty of nearby western armed countries nearby to escape to don't you agree??? The Russian and Syrian airstrikes are more concentrated on areas with large civilian populations and ther
  24. I still watch him on utube, he has done shows in other country's as well, supermarket sprint reminds me of being chased around by store detectives as a kid and I still piss my self laughing everytime I see it
  25. personally I think the west is arming every raving looney in the desert to overthrow Assad without getting there hands dirty, and Russia are helping an elected leader as written in most of the war law books, we have deliberately caused the unrest from Iraq,Afghanistan, Egypt and Libya, and if we are successful in Syria we will move onto Iran, and who knows what will happen when the heavily armed by us, Kurds turn there attention on the land along the Syrian Turkish border that they wish to call home, it's a frecking mess and the blame is firmly at our feet, sorry but that's my ten pence worth
