  1. Clean with bleach, then secure a food container where you dont want them going, and feed them there, works most of the time. GL
  2. It's in the pan as we speak, they are one of my favourites, so yes very nice to eat
  3. Took the tinny out today, a beautiful day on the water, and managed to get a feed. Pinky’s (juvenile snapper), and a nice flathead.
  4. We don't realy have a season, but in summer the heat usually restricts you to a few hours in the morning
  5. Was out with my Daughter today at a local spot they have recently bulldozed, giving access to a few holes. We took the bucks for a run most of the Jills are pregnant atm, only managed 3 but it’s always good to get out, with family, another fun day was had. Below is a few snaps of the day.

  8. It is a beautiful place, Last time I was there we stayed 4 months, only 2 things wrong, to f cold, and a wee bit small, would fit the whole of UK in a sheep paddock over here
  9. I seen dogs do it, but not ferrets, mine start that their getting the chop, I'm not waiting all day for them to drag kits out, kill em quick and on to the next one plz

  13. Sorry for your loss, I know how it feels mate. R.I.P Pepper I will be breeding my bitch probably next year, I'll keep one, if you are still after one, and want one its free .I'll let you know.
  14. It’s a different style of ferreting here mate, in most places for most of the year we can’t dig, so I opt for smaller bucks and Jill’s, the rabbits can pull away from them in tight spots most of the time , also I won’t keep a ferret that stays with the kill. The bigger, stronger, faster ferrets , just catch too many underground, only down side is the smaller ones usually don’t have the stamina of the bigger ones, 2 Jill’s weigh about the same as a big buck ,just means I carry a couple extra. Horses for courses
  15. Thz Bob. Not sure about the hard work bit mate, but I'll take it
  16. Yes Phil, I do use them when needed, Usually in winter or heavy cover, common sense. Bit hard to carry a backhoe mate ;-)
  17. If you hunt for profit, it is imperative that you do not leave too many ferrets behind enemy lines... The locator is a must have item,.. The problem here Phil, is the ground in alot of places is in undigable so if you were to lose a ferret whether snake bite, stuck or whatever you would lose the locater as well If the Rabbits can dig it then so can you. Pft they only dig them in winter, you need a jack hammer, not a shovel. Ignorant comment!
