Lost a few myself one year, and heard of a few over the years die from heat (lesson learned) I now use mist air conditioning on my cage anything above 30C I put it on. even if they dont die (lucky) at 45c you can bet they are suffering no doubt.

My Daughter and I took a few ferrets, the longnets and dogs out for a run, to a local spot, I’m always anxious when ferreting around barb wire Another close call for Zip, this could have ended in disaster, fortunately she had no injuries except a couple of small wounds to her front knuckles. We did manage a few, I will post a full video once I edit it. Had a wonderful day full of laughs, excitement, and a few hearts in mouth moments, wouldn’t be dead for quids. They dont get much mate, a tin lasts about 2 years just for trace elements, not realy needed but it doesn't hurt

The most common question I get is, what do I feed my ferrets? Mainly whole rabbits, puppy mince with egg once a week and I add petvite (Pet multivitamin) twice weekly mixed in with the mince, I also give them chicken and other meat scraps (no processed meat) they do very well on this diet. Just remember in the wild all they eat is prey so the closer you can stay to this the better I.M.O. Thoughts ???

Don’t slip her early, try to be patient and put her on a few sitters, this problem usually arises in young inexperienced dogs, with anxious owners, better to catch none and let her have a good look at them running in the distance than having them nose to the ground scaring everything in the paddock. Sorry my bad mate. I not familiar with American bully’s in the late 70’s we ran a lot of Greyhound x E.B.T and to their credit did what they were intended for, in the early ’s this type was improved by substituting E.B.T for A.P.T (IMO) I don’t use them in my x’s any more but only because I mainly stick to the bunny’s these days, and prefer sighthound crosses (3/4whippet x 1/4Deerhound) but if you want a dog to tackle teeth and tusk for the long haul, a bit of A.P.T goes a long way. I only keep pure’s now and have done for 30 yrs + such a great dog to have around, especially when we spotlight

Devon must be a beautiful place then. Great day was had mate, not big numbers due to I am to lazy to carry them lol, but a lot of fun with ferrets and dogs will post a few photos later.

The thing about this breed mate is they are excessive compulsive, and when you learn to direct that compulsion to hunting, they will kill, hold, or die before they give up, or let go until commanded, that’s their strength . I love this breed, and have used x breds on all sorts of game except deer, not sure why you say they have no bottle, there is no breed I know with more, some have as much JMO

Majority of the BEST dogs I've seen over the years in the field, have been bitches, most of mine were dogs, now I only keep bitches. Each to their own
