    Same with the pike fishing, there obsessive… I fished a local pit for donkeys years till they let ppl have a go in the trout pond and one came out a few oz under the record now it’s fcuked and you can’t get on it.. gave up fishing big lakes after that and only fish rivers for wild fish now. loads better, I’ll take the kids to a free lake but that’s only so they don’t fall in and drown?

    I’ve been laying bricks and stone for about 30 years but never been asked to do this before! thought I’d post it because I’m well impressed with the finish and if I ever get asked by a customer about it I’ll recommend it… it’s a pice of piss to do as well not beyond a confident diy’ers ability, as long as the rendered walls sound. its just glorified tiling set me starter battern to the finished height so there aren’t any dodgy cuts at the top then filled in below, I cut up some spacer pegs from an old fence panel… and dot n dabbed the stone pieces on with mapie stone adhesiv

    I did a job for a fireman bout 30 year ago... lived all his life in Bradford, he got a knock on his door from one o the county’s enrichers saying I’m buying your house... this is what I’m offering cos no one else will buy it. my old labour left Bradford 20 year ago... they took over his estate, they bought the pub.. the locals left new landlord in the seller for two days drank the pub dry and no fcuker went back in it? ppl in West Yorkshire gave up a long time ago

    There not the bee all and end all, my mate is lamper for life and dose well! but if I lost mine I’d be out the next day buying another, even if I gave up hunting I’d still own one just for the nature observing, I watched a deer calf about 30yards away from me on a golf corse last year.. it was ace but I wouldn’t of got to see it with the lamp and even if I had I would of switched it off as not to distress it
