  1. that fx streamline ive got favours mags over jsb heavy 's matt if they suit your barrel there a hell of a pellet, they might drop off the dots quicker than the lighter ones but once you've got to grips with ranging there mint bloody good group too! atb si
  2. the .177 airwolf I had was like that, super accurate and not pellet fussy at all.... only reason I got rid was cos I dont like buddy bottle rifles.
  3. its guilt free shooting in a sick kind of way the .22 cat loves sovereigns but is just as accurate with the fap's so ive been using them a while now for nv sessions due to flying flatter! and the 97 is running nicely on 8.44 rangemaster's good quality pellets ds
  4. once the weather warms up I'll be putting the airmax back on the 100 and the express will be getting the proper test.. cant believe how much you can stretch the range and there accurate as feck
  5. if thats the weekend sat14th sun15th thats good cos the kids break up the weekend after
  6. not a problem...you'll have to come for a day at the seaside and sneak your 100 in the car boot... ill take you there! got a few good perms but this ones great... rats ferrels crows squirrels plenty of rabbits in the spring to! if your brave enough to build a hide around the silage you'd get the best random bag ever.. but I wont do it cos them rats are everywhere atb si
  7. It’s rife with them, there everywhere you look, you don’t stand still and be quiet... you make sure they know your there so there not running over you feet!! its rank but good sport?
  8. Cheers Jeff it’s not often I can be bothered with right-ups especially on a night but it was a proper good session!
  9. Don’t worry the weather will pick up soon and you’ll be back on it? You can’t pack it in cos you’ve got that smart 97 to pick up atb si
  10. Those express are great in the 100, I don’t usually like to go below 8.4’s but as a rat basher there spot on! been using the fap’s in The .22 wildcat, it’s another good nv rat pellet?
  11. Cheers Jon... its some combo the 100 with them light pellets, can’t belive how well they fly! think the thermal will come into its own in the open fields, it’s mega sensitive and picks up on everything but with having such a small screen it’s just to busy around the farm... although it picks rats out no problem amongst the tyres?
  12. not put a hunting post up for a while so thought id do one as had a full kit change over! Monday is pretty much nailed on as me and my mates rat night... so tonight we've had a couple of hours at the dairy on the rats due to it being so cold ive started using the hw 100 as the 14shot mag count is way better than changing the wild cat every 8 shots when you cant feel your fingers, ive been using the jsb express pellets that Mitch likes for hunting for the first time and there brilliant on the rats... basically anything between 10& 40yrd falls over with a crosshair shot..
  13. that 95's doing you proud good shooting ... and the weight of them is a right bonus too! I'll be getting another without a doubt when I see one for the right price just started snowing down the road now, was gonna have a crack tonight but I recon it'll go on the back burner till tomorrow
  14. no top hat or tail...it was a rough old hole! this was keeping guard of me room this was in me room.... these old boys had a good day on the rabbits! 8 guns and 749 rabbits bagged one day
  15. id rather watch paint dry than spend a day at the range with a pcp Jozef! its a tidy looking bit of kit that 30
  16. if its the Hawke on your avatar send it back, sure they've got a lifetime guarantee
  17. bn uses a hw100.. ive heard of people stripping the grease out cos if theres to much it loses power on cold/freezing days! theres a thing on youtube about it sure it was only about 1/2ftlb might be enough to alter the zero but not to sure! do a chrono at home bn and one when your out in the elements. the 100 I bought a few months ago had that much grease in it fist thing I did was strip it cos it was doing 10.5 instantly went up to mid 11's
  18. £20 says his mum kicks his arse if he dose
  19. looks like you'll be having some fun on that Ethan dont be getting busted flying round the streets atb si
  20. in an ideal world we would nail rats every time mark but it docent happen... don't think many people who shoot them regularly will deny it, they appear at all ranges! as for the pulling your shots... are you sure your pulling them and its not just a bit of adrenaline?! if im full of coffee my shots go to sh1t! I never go shooting at clubs cos there aren't any round my way but what I do a lot of is picking out stones in farm yards and the like, shooting at different angles and ranges you need to get use to real life scenarios and with that will come confidence and a lot mor
  21. the HE's are a good pellet in .177 if they suit the barrel, accurate as you like but suffer in the wind... they drop crows all day long and are even better at fac levels, I like them for the woods as Charlie said there a propper stopper... but I stopped using them round the farms cos they pass straight through the rats and ricochet witch is no good for me! ive been out using the .177 100 the last couple of nights with it being so cold the 14 shot mags are a right bonus, ive been using the jsb express 7.8's for the first time! there a bloody good rat stopper and accurate even tho
  22. I'll do the humber bridge way if your up for it
  23. I managed to tame my .177 95 to the same standard as my .22 97 recoil and accuracy wise! I cant get my .177 97 as smooth as the other two and there all set to just under 12
  24. the weathers supposed to be ok/our summer time in June -July, hows about somewhere in the middle! warm weather and cold beer atb si
