    what toms said is spot on and will make a hell of a difference... but if I was you id polish as said above and fit the spring you already have with two thin penny washers on the bottom guide, ive chopped and changed guides and top hats trying to balance things and dont think theres £20 worth of difference, the vortek piston head is the game changer as you can reduce spring load! atb si

    It a great gun jjm recon I took more woodys with it than anything else, there spot on for stalking the woods with...gave it to me nephew for Christmas, he’s just getting into shooting? Bet I get another at some point

    There all little bits of nothing that add up rabid... one thing is there sh1t at cutting springs and I’ve had to re shape the majority of the ons I’ve done!

    there a bloody good riffle to start with rabid and only really need re-finishing! too much pre load is what fecks them up and with a good polish of the spring ends and a re grease it'll be sound... ive done the drop in kits in loads of stuff and from my pov there a waste of money, if the power is good then just tidying the internals will improve it but if theres loads of pre-load tell him to ditch the aa piston head and order a vortek one... there mint and will bring the power up and reduce the pl ive been using this grease for the springs for a fair while now and it stays put w

    you may not like the look of them, I didn't at first but the wildcat is a good bit of kit and I recon it would be sound in .25! its not got all the bells and whistles but there bombproof and less to go wrong, they make a mint night vision setup... I wouldn't by a brand new one though
