    where area of Yorkshire are you hunting in?! I hunt around the north east cost area of North Yorkshire and the game levels are as good as ever! lots of hares and rabbits still about which is surprising cos there are a lot of buzzards and theres no shortage of deer

    you cant double load a hw100 and there probably the best rifle you can get for sub 12 vermin control

    saw this myself Rez... I just had a chuckle, thought about it for a second and dismissed it! its a nice looking rifle and the .20 and the ability to tune your pellet to 12 flb was tempting but id not keep it long cos I dont get on with chunky stocks! pav's right with the price though, there are loads up for sale all the time and for good money seen them going for 450 and 100's for 300 in the last few weeks!

    found out im getting an old school hw 35 from jimmy he wasn't going to say anything but after commenting on your 35 post he thought I was going to buy one and spilt the beans.. lol and my lad/meis getting the paratrooper off jimmy and this from me! what have you put on the wish list Mitch?! atb si

    the piston seals make a massive difference as do the new springs, you can buy a new rifle and fit a vortek seal and get up to 2ftlbf straight of the bat and thats before tinkering with springs.. depending on the rifle... cant see a 35 being any different to the other hw's ive fettled! atb si

    Rez might be right with the blown seal thing but it may just be a bit of cr@p that needs blowing out! hold the cocking bolt back and give it a mega blast with a dive bottle , if you've got some one to help try firing it while doing it! worth a go hope you get it fixed atb si

    I prefer hare over rabbit... and I can guarantee if I go to drop off a catch and ive got a hare the blokes I know will all take it over bugs! maybe they do taste different around the county, they taste good round here

    ive been keeping an eye on a new perm ive been asked to thin out the rabbit numbers on bn! walked it a few times in daylight and not seen a thing but loads of signs of activity.... runs all over on every side and fresh poop everywhere! was working a late guvy near it so I put the nv setup in the car... nearly fell over when I turned it on, must of been nearly 30 rabbits in the first paddock ! didn't know which one to go for its a few lighter now and the freezer is a bit fuller!! hit it with a late shift bn atb si
