    never used or shot a wonkey donkey but I know villaman rates them and he knows whats good and not! its down to how confident you are when it comes to pulling stuff to bits and using power tools! if you fit the donkey smooth out all the machined edges /slots on the piston and main body and watch you dont wreck the piston seal when passing the square lugs! good luck with it cos there a mint riffle when sorted

    me and my mate shoot springers out of the front windows of his vw work van, its a bit of a mission but good fun... he loves his prosport to and would never get rid of it! hes had his 100 for over 10 year but I only ever see it when we go rat bashing!

    I agree with you on that, it just seems like an unnecessary faff. its the bit about the new barrels that got me thinking... the smooth twist took a fair bit of sorting out and it sounds like new x version is going to have the same prob! should of stuck with the lw ones like on the old royals

    if im turning up at a new perm or a perm with a serious problem I'll take a pcp and wipe out as many as I can.... but if is a chilled keep it under control and show your face it'll be a springer session which I far more enjoy

    its one of them ledray lamps, might just take the grinder to it and make it fit! have a look at the panorama range ive got one, massive field o view 3-9x40 bit lighter and about 20mm shorter

    no it'll be going back on the 510 once I find a mount that will go on the air cylinder! have a look online viz, Hawke knocked £100 of the retail price thats why I bought it

    its a mint scope, its been on the 510 but I had to swap out cos I couldn't get me lamp fitting on the top rail.. no room

    they do a 16shot mag for the .177 now Phil and you'll still get about 200 shots with the streamline.... after swapping to .177 for ease of mag filling from the wc im not sure ill go back to .22 for the rats! them express pellets are propper forgiving compared to .22 atb si

    all mine have got Hawke scopes on them viz but the only one iv got with an amx is the airmax 4-16x50 looks ok on a pcp! best scope ive got is an endurance 5-15x50 its not a bad weight its clear and a fair bit shorter.. half mil though

    got to admit I was a fan of the heavy pellets but since using the 100 with express on the rats ive gone full circle! now using them in the 510 as well and there spot on, thought they might suffer in the wind but there sound.. pity they dont group well in me 97

    The being able to take it off while charged is a good thing and being cheaper is a bounus! i have an a&m and putting the filler probe in is not exactly fluid! if I was to buy again I’d go for the tube and fit the original end caps to it.
