  1. Well a poor nights sleep, clocks went back and I am looking at the prospect of another day decorating, nearly every room done now and it cannot come tooooooo soon. I do hope you guys are having a better day than me. No posts on here since 14rh of the month so I thought I would get you lot going.........................perhaps. Phil
  2. I have the fluorescent bead / strip on both my Caesar Guerini and on my Browning semi as factory fitted and to be honest, like foxdropper said, you don't need anything BUT given the choice I am happy with the ones fitted to my guns. Beretta use the fluorescent strip/bead sights on all their competition shotguns and I do like them but no they are NOT necessary. Phil
  3. Anyone want to buy a kidney because that is what it would take to buy that Pulsar.......... Phil
  4. As I understand it Mitch, the Pard thermal / nv scope is a thermal spotter scope with a swit to turn it to normal nv although I have not seen the actual spec but I understand it will be here soon. Phil
  5. Not yet but I was advised they will be out in a few months.
  6. I also heard today there is another version Mitch with thermal to find the quarry and at the flick of a switch, it changes to night vision and soon to land on these shores. Phil
  7. You will Tom as I will post some photos when it is back on the action. Phil
  8. I know you are in Leeds but there is a shop in Sheffield called Browns Lock stock and barrel who may be able to help you. Phil
  9. You are right Jimmy it was a cracker and I am going to go for another .25 next year but not sure what gun. Along with another of our members (you know who Jimmy), I rather like the look of the Vulcan 3 and I know a guy on here has listed one in the hunting section, but I won't be doing it until next year otherwise I would be asking to meet up and try it. Phil
  10. I borrowed a side focus one from my rfd to test for them and found it to be quite reasonable, pretty clear but very very stiff eye bell adjustment and focus and I do mean stiff so I would actually look at one first if I were you. I did hear that some models were poor but cannot confirm. Phil
  11. Don't believe it DB, Jimmy has one on order ? I must confess, I really liked the two black compact versions I had but the grey laminate version was total shite. Phil
  12. Sorry I can't help but it may be worth a quick call to BSA tech dept. Phil
  13. PCP every day of the week. You should find an older BSA Ultra or Air Arms s200 in your budget, have a chat with John at Lock Stock and Barrel on Holme Lane as he gets loads of s/h guns in. Phil
  14. Not certain but I think they were used in Austrailia on very close vermin but not aware you could buy one in the UK. The range was very limited and less use than a 3 bore garden gun which are cheap to buy (about £50-80) and cartridges are still available but few and far between. Phil
  15. Your time will come Mitch and not too long........
  16. Went over to Bridlington the other night for fish n chips along with a bit of drop netting with the kids and a bloke was whizzing along the harbour wall on an electric quad, I think it was a mobility job but it looked superb, chuck it in the back of the estate and take it on some of the perms. Okay, like Dave, I am an ole fart with a very wonky knee so it might come handy anyway..................................... my son in law pissed himself when I said I fancied one. ? Phil
  17. I must admit that I love crow shooting over deeks but I normally shoot on maize when the shoots are just coming through as the birds seem very intent on getting as much as possible. Bloody good kill to cartridge ratio. Phil
  18. I do like the grips on the Impact which is not my thing, what is the mod on the Impact. Phil
  19. It's all yours Jimmy, Chris is happy for you to make use of it mate. Phil
  20. Brilliant sport, I need another rat perm. Phil
  21. Was it Airtech or you that tuned it Mitch. Phil
