  1. I know you and others Mitch don't rate the Donny mods but watching the recent youtube of Ted's Holdover who was saying how good the Donnt Tatsu mod was to the point that he uses them on all his guns and I know he can be flippant but I tend to accept what he says. Donny Fl Tatsu Airgun Silencers - Bagnall and Kirkwood BAGNALLANDKIRKWOOD.CO.UK Tatsu or “Dragon” will be a great addition for shooters who need to take the bark out of their gun yet keep the overall length short. This is a smaller version of the... Phil
  2. To be honest I did not buy the mod Mitch and have no previous knowledge of Hugget kit, in fact I think it was in a box of bits I picked up at the rfd. The SAK mod on the Wildcat is not good so I thought that if I can vamp this one, it may be better than the SAK. There is no model name unless 'THE HUGGET' is the name which is what is shown in the photo. It doesn't fit the shroud Jimmy as the Wildcat has a 1/2'' unf threaded end cap. My old Impact has a M20 thread for which I still have an A&M mod sat in the drawer.
  3. Some time ago, I picked up a hugget mod, not sure why or where from but it has never been used by me however I thought it might be ideal for the Wildcat fac but the thread looks to be possibly an M25 external thread. Does anyone know if it is possible to get another insert to convert to a standard 1/2 unf to fit most guns or even a converter to fit this thread down to 1/2unf. Phil
  4. I remember when my son came home in a Lotus Esclat (I think) and said I should give it a whizz round , well I didn't need asking twice, hot sunny day driving one of these, winner winner. It started to slightly rain while we were out so my son clipped on the roof, when we got back home and tried to get out, I then realized the right hand side arm rest was in fact the fcuking car sill !!!!! Yes you have guessed, my family were in stitches as I had to sort of part roll and part slither out of the bloody thing fully laid out in the drive to be free of this little sports car................
  5. Typical........................ I never even said anything, I must admit talking to an old (well older than me) lady the other day at our village co op as she had one of these electric 3 wheel scooters with a nice sized boot to say nothing of the chunky wheels............................................hmmm, well perhaps the future doesn't look to bad, I need to sweet talk her and borrow it to see how good it is on grassy slopes. ? Phil
  6. Amazing, the lens didn't crack, obviously that camera doesn't use MTC lenses ? Phil
  7. Sorry to hear that you have no perms available Jake, we do well because we live in a rural village and know a lot of farmers so word of mouth get us plenty of perms. It is a pity you are so far away as I could pass on a couple, not brilliant but better than nothing and we don't bother with them. I woke up at 4.15 this morning and we have a white out, bloody snowing and 3 degrees. I know I said we were going out tonight on the ferals in the barns but believe me, it is VERY unlikely, oh lovely, just started to snow again.....................? Phil
  8. Got a maggie on Sunday afternoon along with 14 feral pigeon but the maggie gave me greater satisfaction I must confess. Phil
  9. Are you putting out the hide each time you go or leaving it pegged down. The reason I asked is that I found for pigeon, crow, in fact any ambush, I have always done better if the hide is up for a few days to let the quarry get used to it being there. When shooting crows as they are very shy birds, we would put up the hide, leave it for at least two days, then shoot one day and leave it for another couple of days. I did this over the course of about 2 weeks and it worked a treat. Phil
  10. Thank you for asking Bernard, my wife is still testing poitive as of this morning but so far I am still clear. We should be in Anglesey this week but managed to defer the hotel booking until next week but I think I am going to put it back for a few more weeks just in case things go on longer or I pick it up. Phil
  11. I am just sat here looking out at some very cold wintery weather with fallen temperatures and rain thinking to myself what is going on, we had some stunning sunny days and as my wife has got covid, it allowed us both, with space between, to sit outside and enjoy the days but I tell you what, I am really having trouble getting my arse into gear and go shooting at night. I bought the new 007v and so far used it once...................come on you muppet get out there.....................................hmmm Now I have been out a few times on the pigeon with my new shotgun and really enjoyed
  12. A very complex subject and condition to have, clearly cases vary so it is not really possible for those outside this illness to fully understand how safe it would be to own a gun be it shotgun or firearm. We know from several cases where the police have taken licences and guns away from everyday shooters on some very thin reasoning so to me, I would have thought that perhaps the police would use this as a perfect reason to refuse anyone with this condition any licence at all but who knows. Phil
  13. My pal bought an NP02 for a bit of garden fun and it was spot on, I didn't like the left side cocking otherwise I would have bought one and bought the P35 instead. Phil
  14. One more 68 Whiskey - Hunting / Reviews / Humour - NEW FX Wildcat MKIII | Bottle Version | 41 Grain Zan Slugs WWW.AIRGUN101.COM NEW FX Wildcat MKIII | Bottle Version | 41 Grain Zan Slugs Well boys and girls, today we debut the new FX Wildcat MKIII with a carbon fiber... Phil
  15. Well I might have known, I buy the new Wildcat Mk3 fac which I love only to find a few months later, they bring out the 'BT' version. I would very much like this in .25 fac but not to all tastes. Three version will be available with different size bottles. WILDCAT MKIII - FX Airguns FXAIRGUNS.COM The FX Biathlon MKII rifle is built in the spirit of the Olympic competition rimfire guns. This MKII version has been updated with FX Smooth Twist X barrel. Ted gives his feedback as the Wildcat is his favoured hunting rifle, get a coffee and watch assumin
  16. Load of utter and complete crap, sell it as soon as you can Jake. Phil
  17. Thank you very much chaps, I am sure she will be fine. My eldest daughter and family have all had it and the 4 year old grandaughter seemed completely clear and about a week after they were clear and we went to see them, she tested positive the same evening that we popped round in the afternoon. Just sods law I guess. Phil
  18. Well so much for having a full day testing the rifles and sorting zeros now that all the scopes have been swapped around. A lovely day weather wise BUT my dear wife tested positive for covid so we are not going anywhere even though I am stiil clear at the moment. For two years we have been so careful only to pick it up from my grandaughter, thankfully as we have had all three jabs, we hope it gets no worse than flu and that I keep clear but who knows. Phil
  19. Jimmy will be pleased so he can get some for that Verminator. Phil
  20. To be honest DB, I only have the wmr barrel because it was included in the sale and having owned a wmr before, I am aware how well they run but the hmr is for long range bunnies which I believe will be better for that job. Very interesting Mitch and I am not surprised at the effect of the hmr. Great pity he didn't examine the blocks in detail after the first shots which would have been more telling. My buddy and myself are out tomorrow to put our hmr rifles through their paces as over here we are enjoying some calm weather for a change and I will be doing some more test
  21. Not me Bernard but funnily enough, my ticket came back on Saturday as they had printed a .22 spare barrel not a mag / wmr barrel so now it is reprinted reading a .22 wmr barrel, I popped over to my rfd to pick up the said barrel, good job this guy didn't know about my barrel although in fairness it was included in the package with the hmr. I do have a temptation to tease on this one however.........................perhaps not. Phil
  22. I must admit that I have lost some shooting mojo this winter and moved to use the shotgun a bit more which has been really nice however we need to get round our perms or they will wonder if we are still interested. Phil
