  1. Never that one before but who knows.
  2. If we are all confessing, I will say my Rapid Mk2 was as accurate as any of the FX guns I have owned and I do wish I still had it but having said that my Impact Mk1 .25 was bloody brilliant but some spare parts are getting very difficult to get ( I suppose that could be the wankers who now import them ) and that was the only reason I sold it but the Wildcat .22 I have is a lovely and light and that is the downside to the Rapid, it was a heavy lump compared to the FX guns. The FX would be my first choice on every session but it would be nice just to still own my old Rapid. Phil
  3. The AA Heavy seemed to be a bit tricky to get last year and switched to the JSB variant which is as close as you can get to the AA version. I will say, and stand to be corrected, the AA Heavy just seems to have the edge over JSB in terms of killing power, might just be in my head but nevertheless given the option, I would use AA Heavy. Phil
  4. You back on pellets instead of the 21gr zan mitch. Nice shooting, I have just fitted a new feeder yesterday and went to check if they had found it yet, they had so topped up the feeder ready for a session Moday. Phil
  5. Happy New Year guys, here is hoping for a better year in 2023. Phil
  6. Life's a bitch but someone has to do it........
  7. Christmas eve is here again, all my dosh has gone so the Crown or Wildcat BT is out of the window again BUT at least the fridge and freezers are full along with the drinks cupboard and all the presents are wrapped so apart from some baking by my dear wife, WE ARE DONE or at least as we will ever be. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year, stay safe guys. Best regards Phil
  8. Welcome to the club Dave, I must say its about bloody time mate........................? Phil
  9. Over and under every day of the week, they are heavier than a side by side but absorb recoil far far better. I have shot tens of thousands of cartridges through my Beretta / Perazzi and Caesar Guerini guns which have done the job both on the clay grounds and out in the fields on live quarry. The most important thing, as already stated, is to get sound advice from a 'GOOD' gun dealer and ideally one that is linked to a clay ground so you can try a few guns under a watchful eye to ensure gun fit is as good as possible otherwise it simply will not be right for you. If you let us know where
  10. Pleased to hear Mark did the business for you. Phil
  11. Buy lots and test them all until you find one that works well.........
  12. Many a true word spoken in jest me thinks Mitch ?
  13. I thought it was Phil Crampton at Ratworks that sorted your Huntsman Simon. Phil
  14. A firm favourite of mine were the two Mk1 I had but the Mk3 fac is just lovely to hunt with. Phil
  15. I prefer not to shoot next to Simon because having witnessed him shoot ...................................he is far too bloody good. ? Phil
  16. I remember asking him at a show if I could fit an add-on night vision to an MTC Viper Connect, he said no, I asked him again two hours later as I overheard him talking about add-on nv, this time he said you could use nv on the scope. The man is an idiot. Phil
  17. BSA produce a lovely little rifle in the shape of the ultra which is available with a junior stock which can be replaced when he is older. Phil
  18. Hmmm good luck with that, it looks more of a garden plinker than anything else.
  19. The Wildcat is a superb rifle, I have had both .177 and .22 in sub 12, totally accurate, reliable, great to use. I now have a Mk3 fac .22 and again superb so why bugger about with it, they do not need you to tinker, just enjoy it. Phil
  20. Only heard good things about this guy, good luck with it and post up what you findings are when you get it back. Phil
  21. I had an Annie 1416 but really didn't get on with it so bought a Tikka which for me is spot on. Phil
  22. Interesting Ben as my P35 is listed as 180 shots per fill, I can't say I have done that many but certainly managed more than 125 on target shots. I did a mag count one day at the range then got bored and came home. ? Phil
  23. Very pleased to hear your son is in a better state Mark, it is difficult to see our children having issues no matter how old they are. All the best to you both mate. Phil
  24. Just remember to let out the air before sending.
