John, if nobody else is calling for the scope, I would very happily take it for my son in law, then perhaps I can have my scope back then but if anyone else wants it themselves, that's fine. Phil

I am not saying they are the same pellet nor did Rob but they worked so perhaps a different mould. There are some on ebay, I will go fire up the computer and give you the link but all I did was to put fx pellet in the search bar and they came straight up. Phil

They are made by JSB and are available from any ASI dealer. Now interestingly enough I was having a chat with Rob at Pickering Guns, Si knows him well and Rob was saying that he recalls a Terminator that would not group well at all even with various JSB pellets so they bought in some FX pellets which was a game changer. The FX pellets worked really well. Just looked on eBay and there are some FX 16gr pellets, soory don't know how to put on a link with Amazon Fire but they are there. Hope that sort of helps. Phil

This is where I may well upset you but these guns do not hold their price and are not sort after so to get £300 all in would be about right. They are not well made and there have been loads of problems with them that have been plastered over the various forums so not that popular. If you have a good one, keep it but to be very honest there are far far better rifles out there s/h to make this worth having. Sorry Phil

I totally agree Si. Phil

I now have a bit of a dilemma Si, Wildcat .22 FAC or stick with the original idea of Impact .22 FAC. Impact:- higher shot count, 18 shot magazine, variable power (limited use but could be handy) and very good sliding shroud to quieten it down (fantastic on 12ft/lb), spare carbon air cylinders available if required, .25 barrel available to swap with if the desire was there. Wildcat:- lighter, cheaper mags but only 8 shot.............................................................................................................................hmmmm, Impact me thinks. I bet you can't wait matey. Enjoy it Jimmy. Phil

I didn't hear anything else from him Si but I think the issue with adjustment is understandable and I am fine with that plus I now know how to tweek the trigger myself so all is good. It was not until I bought a JSB test tub with the various pellet types in that it really came home that this gun prefers the lighter pellet with both the RS and Express giving the best results. I also bought a tin of JSB heavy to try in the FAC because the 18gr AA Field Heavy is a bitch to get hold of so sticking with JSB and can order from Voymir at much better prices than the shops. Bloackpool airguns are shipping um. Hmmm, I wonder for how long now, after he has pissed off FX after dropping the Impact with their 90% returns bullsh1t.

I have just bought a test tin of these in .177 and .22 getting 30 of each sample. Well worth a try in my opinion. http://voymir.com/jsb-177/291-jsb-diabolo-exact-test-airgun-pellets-cal-177-7-x-50pcs-5906554324010.html Phil

Just come back after a bloody cold one hour session at each farm, altogether about 25 scaley tails but as you said Si they always seem to land in some foul sh1te and despite having a litter picker, I would still get covered in smelly stuff so they can stay where they are. Here are the pick up from the first farm. This is the first time out with .22, JSB Exact Jumbo RS pellets, 13.4gr, in the Wildcat and have to say they really work well giving the best groups this gun has produced, I am well pleased with their performance so far. Daystate and their limited editions...........................................it is just taking the piss and charging silly money for some reworked slow selling gun. Phil

I do actually like it but wonder what the balance will be like with the air cylinder being so long. When I first saw this last year on some youtube launch, it was going to be a very keen price, has it been launched here yet. Phil

This is on my list to check out at the Northern Shooting Show in May....... Phil

Very nice indeed. Phil

Jimmy my friend, I am so pleased to hear this mate, it must be a serious weight off your shoulders. If I am lucky enough to win the lotto, you will have a bungalow mate. This is a good start to the year. Phil

Yet again, one of the members on this site comes up trumps, nice one Tim. Phil

Might be worth looking on here to see if there is anything else nearer to you, I have a feeling there is a good one at Hodnet but you can look it up. http://www.shootingclubdirectory.com/midlands/ Phil

Who sells a reflex mod, I would like to try one on my Rapid FAC although a second FAC is one the cards which is super quiet so perhaps not so important when I think about it. Phil

Hey Mitch, where the fcuk did you get a photo of me at leisure.............barsteward. Phil

Pretty little thing there Jimmy. Phil

For many years, I have used Sundridge Sleep Skin thermal micro fleece suit. These suits are very light, fully flexible and non sweating. I have worn this under a drysuit in the harshest winter kayak fishing as well as sat on a freezing cold bank after pike, they are just fantastic. I now wear this under my cammo lightweight Deerhunter two piece suit, toastie warm. Phil

I had hold of one a few weeks ago, I though them to be quite heavy and just did not feel right but that is only my first impression. I read on another forum of some guys testing them at a shooting show and said despite the fact they were not so keen on the looks, they shot very well. Just seem very bulky compared to the Wildcat.
