Same guys will shoot anything that they see too.As you know there's not many here's around our part, or certainly not my way on, when there used to be a few kicking about the hills...that too is down to 4x4, rifle and nightvision. You be hard pushed to see anything near me.

You will get people telling all hares are easy at night on here. I beg to differ. Never seen an easy one as they get run often.

in my opinion she was tucked in well behind it. And if a greyhound wouldn't do well on small fields no dog would? They are fast as f***ing hell. Put your dog on a -100 yard slip amd see how all these perfect lurchers fair up lol not having a dig just saying. Also, alot of these coursing greyhounds wasn't used after they started running cunning...my experience is limited on coursing circle but this is what I was always led to believe. Anyone confirm this!? Yes fast as hell and the tuning circle of a barge, hare would be gone on small land.so that bitch in the clip over shots loads did she? W

thats the best feeling mate.maybe they will change there outlook in time.i dont think so mind. but once you tell them about chickens/beef etc were they come from they dont say anything. My partners boy I bought him a gun when he was 8 and tried eating him into it, starting with targets then taking him hunting but wasn't thrilled. He's now 15, and has asked for a gun again as he thinks he will enjoy hunting now. So there's time yet

As said above. Just keep doing what your doing and build a nice bond where dog wants to be with u all the time. Good luck. Maybe get her retrieving fur n feather om a confined space like an alley way

some of the best coursing whippets were out of non working parents.
-
I wouldn't want a temperament like that in a dog. As they say, too much dog for ALOT of people.
-
i had none ped racing whippet bitch, great little dog caught rabbits in the lamp no prob, some of the males down the track, were 30-34 lb and a lad used two brothers on foxes regular strong little game dogs if i was having a whippet 1st choice would none ped racing stock apparently the kc stuff has more stamina and that over a racing non ped. But I wouldn't know from experience... If I wanted a bigger type whippet od just get a whippet greyhound first x.

What is the rush with people lol when u got everything training wise in place take it on the lamp or ferreting
-
Nice one mate and a post I could comfortabley read, at last a post that doesn't hurt my head after work.atb
-
The kc registered whippets are the ones with the coursing blood in them. There's a few lads catching rabbits and daytime hares with theirs still mate. I was surprised at a few lads whippets to be fair. Lovely pup and all the best

Anything crossed witg a greyhound will die in first ousting, break it's feet jack fter first bend. 90% wastage on a f1, must be 100% wastage on. 3/4 x
-
Ye I agree total waste of time working out percentages like that as u won't have a jar of glue. Only way I would use a percentage is if it's like my pup 3/4 grey 1/4 collie. If your explaining how it's bred it abit easier using percentages sometimes.
