    Hi mate they have just been on chick crumb take them of the crum have a look at their tendons if swollen you might've blown em with to much protein . Also feel their legs and see if they feel hot !Cheers mate I'll have a look , you got any recommendations on a good feeding regime for chicks in reality your chicks should be ok on crum for a while but I have seen some em go of their legs if a batch has got to high protein , it's just one thing to elimate before you see if its Mateks . Me personally change chick food regular from growers to maintenance maybe cracked corn but I'm sure everyone's

    sorry Bosun got to disagree you can't or shouldn't define a terrier by its " colour " . That's where show people go wrong by trying to define what a terrier should look like and what its colour should be. I know you know this already mate but for me a terrier should only be defined by its work !

    I see all the full brother and sisters to the red dog run and they all caught hares. One of he's sisters was on a hare when it ran across a road , the bitch was tight to it and got hit by a car as she followed . she got up ran into the next field and still caught it, She didn't brake anything and probably just clipped the car but she was very sore. Although some where better than others I still think the whole litter was quality !

    I've got to agree dogs are sold for silly money ! working dogs to working people either gifted to men that are gonna work them or if a spare for a working mans price. Can I ask , when you was breeding your labs and spaniels did you sell any for the price of feed and a pint ? I gave two away to young beaters out of my last two litters,4 in total I gave away,they are not the only pups I gifted to people, and I charged £ 250 for dogs £300 for bitches the rest of the time and was never left with a pup, more often than not people came back each time I bred, anyway that's the way of the world the
