  2. Nice write up Bob and Brambles Nice to here these tails and reminds me of things I got up to. Also the tails my father told me as kids about ferreting ground burrows in open fields on top of a hill they used to poach rabbits at night. He would go out and grease all the gates with lard they still got caught by the woman farmer one night. When ever I drive by that hill called Hazard it makes me smile. Cheers Arry

    Was walking up the beach mate can't believe how far I used to walk to fish that inside edge of the spit. Lots of bird life. Should have had the metal detector but wifey would have been pissed off lol. Was plaice right on the end back then with a few spent flounders moving back in, place spent as well. place need some May water over their back before they are any good. Cheers Arry

    Spring ???

    Got my Tomato's up and Cucumbers just up Leeks up in the green house and my giant onions I plant in January they are in cells now. Must be hard with Late frosts mate even we can get caught out mind March 19th 2018. Cheers Arry

    Spring ???

    Spring is well on. Went up the coast a bit to Dawlish today and as we drove through the town the Black Swans had tiny signets. There are some rape seed fields starting to flower across the Teign valley. Magpies building couldn't get a good picture with my phone. The Black Thorn is flowering everywhere. Hawthorn has bud burst. Alexanders which I call stink weed flowering and the Bees are loving it. Supposed to be good to eat but the smell put me off. Cheers Arry
  11. Went to a place called Forest Fungi for breakfast was going to have a Full English but instead had a load of mixed Mushrooms on toast with a poached egg. Was bloody lovely but for got to take a photo. I did buy some "Hen of the Wood" and a couple of "King Oyster" mushrooms. Cheers Arry

  21. I used to have a "Little Wenlock" Muti full burner and if I could get it i used to burn that Welsh steam coal. Bloody hell does that burn hot, no idea if you can still get it or the price. Suppose to burn clean as well. Cheers Arry
