Only once have I seen Golden Orioles at Whitesands bay in Cornwall. Was about 60 years ago when I was a kid staying in the chalets on the cliff with my family. We watched a pair of them below us on the blackthorn and gorse didn't know what they were for a while as never had a bird book with us and no www then. Cheers Arry

Do it mate get some good mince from a butcher if you can. If you do a roast and make your own gravy save some and use it in the cottage pie makes all the difference mate. Cheers Arry

Well Got a dozen runner beans (white lady) out more to follow. Tomato planted in the green house with two cucumbers. Most of the onions are out carrot seed in. First of the second early spuds (jazzy)are showing. Just need some warm weather now. Cheers Arry -

I get mobbed by them. The Goldfinches come in first then the Greenfinches and looked few minutes ago and theres a pair of Bullfinches. The last couple of week I've had one Redpole never seen one in the garden before. I feed sunflower hearts and niger seed. Cheers Arry

Thanks Kev used to eat regularly at the Ring of Bells before it burned down was really good then. Went back twice after it reopened was bit of a let down to be honest nice to hear its picked up again. They do a Thai night at the Old Rydon might have a crack at that. Cheers Arry
